11 guests' feedbackNo shower. It took us more than 20 minutes to get enough hot water in the bath. The bed was in a poor state. Springs from the mattress made it difficult to lay down. Completely uncomfortable. We we instructed to drive around the house and park the car next to the street, while the whole back yard was available.
This house is a true historical monument in Hartbeesfontein which has been lost. Thank you for the nice visit.
No kettle, coffee or tea facilities in the room. Curtains fall into places of the railing, no key in the door to lock (made another door's key work because I do not sleep in a strange place like that). It is not on guesthouse standard.
The uncle and aunt were very friendly. It was a little hard to find. I expected a little more for the price we paid but if they put in a little effort the place could be back to what it once was.
We had a lovely stay with friendly people. Will definitely stay here again.
The neighborhood is not very neat and does not appear very safe either. The rooms are good but the garden could use some attention. The service was good though.
Dorothy and Michael are the perfect hosts, wish we could have stayed longer. Timeless charm and style. You will see us again soon!
Ideal getaway from the busy world. Lovely atmosphere and hospitality from Micheal and Dorothy. They make it worth it. Food was delicious.
Advertisement posted is misleading. We expect a 4 star place with 4 star treatment, but what a disappointment. I do not recommend this guest house to anyone at all. Only the necessary is in the room: bed, bath and toilet in one. No en suite bathroom, hair dryer, mirror cabinet, closet to hang clothes. Oh, name what you want that is expected of a place with 4 stars and all the answers are negative. Until the sign indicating the place is not up to standard. It took me half an hour of searching before I could find the place. If I couldn't give the accommodation no stars then I would, because it doesn't deserve any mention on a web page. The photos are misleading.
