Prinia on Peak is an ideal place to stay for those looking for tranquility in a picturesque setting. The residential unit is well equipped with everything one needs. Everything was clean and tidy. The stoepie with its nice braai area has a lovely view of the mountains. The entire outdoor environment is pitch dark at night due to the "night sky policy" - something that the rest of South Africa can take to heart to combat light pollution! It's just a quick walk to a few restaurants, a deli, grocery store, etc.
Great hosts, made us feel at home. Tea, coffee, milk, and spices are all available. Lots of books and a couple of board games kept us occupied. Within walking distance to shops and restaurants or takeaways. Highly recommended.
Loadshedding went unnoticed as Prinia on Peak is off the grid.
