Loved having the horses so close.
The hosts are very friendly and accommodating. One can feed and interact with the horses. Relatively close to town which allows one to wine and dine at some of the excellent restaurants in Robertson as well or braai on the farm.

We loved being near the horses. Flies are a huge problem though. The accommodation was clean and met all our requirements. We appreciated the small touches of refreshments.

Prosper Stud's horses are beautiful and there is a farm pond to swim in. There is also a trampoline and swings for children. The braai facilities and outside relaxation area are shared, cottage also connects to other rooms. So not ideal if you want to be isolated, but great for a group of friends who want to hang out together.
My daughter and I wanted to get away from the city. Prosper was just what we needed! We slept great and our room was neat, comfortable and safe. It is clear that this host and hostess value their guests' comfort very highly. The horses are of course a highlight! We can definitely recommend this destination.
The bedroom at the entrance is freezing cold, I would recommend some insulation is necessary for winter. Other than that, it was a lovely stay.
Beautiful farm and surroundings, children really enjoyed the space and horses. Accommodation was comfortable and Jikkie, our host, made us feel very welcome.

I was not given the single room I booked. It was not communicated to me in advance. I got a room attached to the housing unit. People woke us up.
Lovely place to put your feet up and just relax. Ideal location to explore the area.
The only downside was the slippery tiles in our shower.

Jikkie and his wife were so friendly and warm, you felt right at home. The accommodation was quite peaceful, tidy and so warm even though we went in the middle of winter. The place was packed with all the necessities and they really went the extra mile to make the place perfect. It felt like a real old farm house, but with modern equipment. Highlight was definitely all the beautiful horses. My sister and I would visit there again anytime. Best stay ever, plus value for money!
The accommodation is nice, but the tastiest are the freshly made fat cakes. Very friendly staff and hospitality.

We enjoyed every moment from the first meeting of the owners to the greetings the next day. Jikkie was very open that we could interact with the stud of horses, swim in their pond, as well as all the welcome gifts they left in the room. What a wonderful experience for both my husband and I, and our children! Will call on them again in the future.

Lovely farm atmosphere between mountains. Find rest for your soul here between rows of pine trees and the neighing of horses. Here you can find yourself again. You will find comfortable accommodation and genuine hospitality here. A real place of rest and pleasure for everyone.
Host very friendly and helpful. He even let us know that the power was back on after load shedding and that our children were safe. Various pampering items are part of the stay and we really enjoyed it. Would definitely recommend the place.
