Was a very nice and pleasant place to stay. Will definitely stay there again when we spend the night in Lydenburg.

It was nice, just would like them to look into pillows. Not everyone sleeps on thick, hard pillows, they may sit 2x hard and 2x soft on each bed. I would also suggest that you give an option where you can choose whether you want to include breakfast in your stay or not. It's not included in your stay. It is advertised as a bed and breakfast. But one has to book and pay extra.

Notwithstanding the date blunder, I changed my booking twice more with Purple Gecko, and every time they were accommodating and courteous. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Purple Gecko is an oasis in an otherwise barren town.
Please go regularly check the batteries of the remotes. My TV remote didn't work.
It's a beautiful place with so many options. We were disappointed because no option was given or offered for breakfast when we enquired. The booking was also made for a king-size bed but had a double bed. Otherwise a very cute place with a spacious room.

Arrived, Megan (reception) knew we were arriving. Room was ready upon arrival. Easy, simple stay. No problems.
The place exceeded our expectations. The place was very clean and tidy and had everything we needed. The large shower and big screen TV were a bonus. Would definitely recommend the place.

The only negative criticism is that the DStv does not contain the sports channel. Maybe not to everyone's taste/expectation during vacation, but something I do expect.
