Quiet, peaceful and very clean!
On arrival at the gate, it is apparent that the farm is well run. Everything is neat and tidy and well maintained. Signs directed us to the accommodation where PG was waiting for us. We were given comprehensive information on the accommodation and the farm. Everything was just as per the information and photos on the website. We stayed 2 nights and will definitely stay again. If you want a tranquil stay, vast open space, farm atmosphere, and Karoo air, you must come here.

We love animals we got the best. We have been cared for on a six-star level. This is not exaggerated. Electric blankets in the winter were our first ever. Warm welcome. Stylish and fully equipped residential unit. Absolute silence and sleeping comfort. Lovely hot shower. Five star and complete braai facilities with sufficient braai wood. Braai pack, bread option, top shelf salad. If available. Must be booked in advance. Quaggafontein Guest House offers value for money and is recommended without hesitation. Turn from N1 into N12 direction Oudtshoorn. After about 10 km turn left. Follow good dirt road for about 4.4 km. Turn right to destination.
We decided to stay at the last minute and we definitely found the Beautiful in Beaufort West! We will definitely be back again when we do the JHB to Cape trip! You just feel at home.

Our second visit to Quaggasfontein. It's a year later and the standards are still exactly the same, once again a good experience and our new go to place through Beaufort West. Nice peaceful farm atmosphere, house is beautiful, with everything you need. All the extra little things like ice in the freezer, milk in the fridge, a biscuit and a cookie each, wood and lighter for braai etc. make it even more special. Braaipakket and salad and buns were delicious, try them. Thank you very much, see you again!

We discovered a gem! The farm atmosphere immediately made us relax. It's far enough from the N1 to hear no traffic, but close enough to continue your journey. It's exceptionally neat accommodation with exquisite detail that made us feel welcome.

It was a Karoo sheep farm experience like few for us. But just one night was too little.
We booked at very short notice and arrived at our destination very late. We were welcomed with open arms by the hostess. She is extremely friendly and went out of her way to make our stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible. The room is beautiful and one can see that a lot of attention has been paid to the finer details of the room. The surroundings and view are picturesque and peaceful. We will definitely visit Quaggasfontein Guest House again.

When I found myself in front of Quaggasfontein's gate, the sun had already set and my motorcycle almost stopped without fuel in the middle of the Karoo, it was a stressful situation to say the least. PG welcomed me so well I forgot all the problems in life. Soon after I lit a fire and threw Quaggasfontein's very own braai pack on the coals, what a treat. The unit is excellently equipped and it was such a great honor for me to spend the evening there. PG, I am forever grateful for your hospitality and character, and hope to visit again soon (if only for that amazingly delicious barbecue suit).
The perfect place to relax and get some quiet with sheep, lambs and horses on your front porch. PG and Linda's hospitality made the visit extra special.
I felt warmly welcomed from the moment I got out of my car. Even a fresh slice of cake! The apartment is so beautiful and many small details to make everything as comfortable and beautiful as possible were very special. The horses and sheep were such a welcome sight for a city kid who misses animals. I can highly recommend it.

What a great place to stay overnight or by yourself 2. We stayed 2 nights with a 16 month old baby. PG and Linda are fantastic hosts. The guest house itself is beyond neat and modern. Good quality linen, towels, nice shower and bathroom. The unit's aircon, TV and WiFi make the place very comfortable. The view from the stoep over the lamb pen with the stoep braai is perfect for a Karoo atmosphere. The braai packs are a must for the best Karoo mutton. I would recommend Qauggasfontein Gastehuis any time and would definitely stay there again on my way to Cape Town.

Dinner is available at an additional fee. Please enquire. The dinner option includes a braai pack, toasted sandwiches, 'roosterkoek' and salads.

Description
This unit comprises a king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower, basin and toilet. 2 children can also be accommodated. Bathroom towels are provided. The open-plan kitchen is equipped with heat-and-eat facilities like a microwave, fridge, cutlery, tea- and coffee-making facilities and a dining room table. Furthermore the unit also has air-conditioning and a TV.
The open-plan unit is furnished with a queen-size bed, and has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower. On request 2 children can be accommodated, and for convenience, bath towels are provided.
The open-plan kitchenette is equipped with a microwave, a fridge, cutlery and crockery, as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities, and meals can be enjoyed at the dining table. Dinner is available on request at an additional cost and comprises braai packs, braai bread, roosterkoek, and salads. The unit is air-conditioned and is equipped with a TV and Wi-Fi.
The unit opens onto a stoep with a built-in braai area, and firewood is provided. Unfortunately, pets cannot be accommodated.
