If it were to be asked, it would be unfair, because there is no inventory or any measures to ensure that there are checks and verifications of items on arrival and departure. But we had a great stay and the location and comfort was exactly what we needed. Will definitely stay at Raaswater again.

We were away for the weekend for my husband's birthday (and mine, which is yet to come). We didn't want to come home. It was really very nice. There is so much to do, we couldn't get to everything. Two nights is not enough, but it was a lovely weekend. Staying at Raaswater @ WestCoastLife Collection made the weekend extra special. Where it is located gives one access to many places such as a small shop, putt-putt, restaurants, sea and swimming pool. It is very close.
Exceptional value for money.
I don't actually want to say because I was hoping to keep this one to myself. A hideout away from my crazy life. My daughter had the best time. Better than the places I've booked before on the west coast.

Our unit was by the sea, and with the benefits of the accommodation as well, it was just one big jowl, everything you want as a vacationer is a few steps away, sea-pools-restaurants, games.

The unit is not serviced during stay. But there is no broom etc. to clean yourself. Because the units are so close together and some of the walls are "dry walling", I would suggest posting a notice that says, "Quiet please." or something like that, so that people are just made aware.
Cute place, but very few plugs available. Not enough hot water for 4 people. Sheets had marks on them and so did towels. The tag didn't work at the pool. I had to sort it out myself at Mykonos reception. We are expected to clean up after ourselves, but there isn't even a scoop? No braai tongs or braai bowl available in unit, but there is a braai? We would not recommend this unit to anyone nor would we stay there again.
Uncomfortable and dirty. The unit has no kitchen and very poor bathroom facilities. The bedding and floors were dirty. Everything inside the unit was old, curtain hanging by thread in bedroom.
The bathroom was in a bad state, plumbing did not work properly. Poor sanitation. Drainage in the shower was bad, overflowing water onto the bathroom floor. The lounge has no curtains or blinds, so no privacy at all.
Our unit was very tidy and the location by the water was perfect. Parking and security were very good. Will definitely book again in the future.

This little gem is excellent value for money, it is a huge space for the price with a magnificent view of the ocean in this particular unit. It is not the most modern facility but it has everything you need and it is tidy with great service from the staff. It was a very enjoyable stay.
There is a JetMaster built-in braai, but no braai bowl, no braai tongs. Also caught off guard by no complimentary coffee, sugar etc. and had to rush to the shop to be in time to get stock. Although the location and view are beautiful, it's difficult to sleep as the lights outside the front door shines bright, directly into the room and there is no way to "darken" the room. Other than that nothing to complain about.

The bed was very uncomfortable. Two beds are placed next to each other. My thought was it was going to be a king-size bed but the quality is terrible. Really needs to be replaced.
Please equip with a gas stove for loadshedding, get concertina door for bathroom, no privacy.
Prior to making the booking, nowhere did it state nor were we informed that Raaswater guests have to pay R65 per day for the warm pool and purchase a swimming cap at R40. A day before check-in were we told about the R65 per person per day and a day of check-in were we told of the swimming caps. I, therefore, feel that the facilities were not properly advertised and this was extremely disappointing. When I visited the warm pool on my 2nd day I was told I will have to basically pay R105 for the pool and cap which was not included in my budget. This is not acceptable.
This place has a beautiful view, and the kitchen was very limited. The downstairs balcony area is open to the public so you don't have any privacy, people will walk past your bedroom sliding door constantly. The main lobby light shines straight through your door so you don't get much sleep either. Other than that it's a beautiful location.
Holiday break from work.
A very nice location and sea view. Just not enough facilities. We also had to clean ourselves, including the main entrance's light that shone inside our room during the night. Don't think the amenities made up for the cost of the unit.
Furniture and fixtures need urgent attention. No WiFi during loadshedding. Good location.
Sea is literally on your doorstep. But no customer service. No one receives you, place not really clean, no info in room about resort and activities. Not pleasant if you are staying there for the 1st time. Lots of stairs too. Bed also needs to be replaced.
Will definitely return with the whole family. Also, we did experience load shedding. I would really appreciate it if they could get a generator; it would make the stay even more pleasant.

We stayed two nights at Raaswater with the aim of exploring the West Coast. Langebaan is ideally located for this purpose.
Raaswater is excellently located in terms of views - the balcony overlooks the Langebaan lagoon, is close to shops and restaurants and the Marina, but without any distractions. Beautiful, neat apartment. Would recommend to someone who likes a beautiful view, within walking distance of several restaurants and close to town center.

The place truly lives up to its name. What with the waves crashing against the rocks. Can't wait to go back. Lots of places to eat and activities to do around the area. Or just to relax in your room or on the stoep (balcony). Only suggestion I have is that the bathroom in particular the shower needs a bit of an upgrade.
The stay was lovely, you couldn't ask for a better location or view. All I would like to change are the following: 1) There should be a closet for clothes and 2) the 2 plate oven combo is old and rusted, we have not used it at all, suggestion is to replace it with a SnappyChef.

Very neat, the most beautiful sea view from the apartment.
The finish inside Tesra unit was not standard. The roof is raw cement. The hair dryer is in dressing room without mirror. No bedside tables in bedroom.
Apartment looks better in photos than in real life, a bit old and shabby, especially kitchen and bathrooms, but very spacious and comfortable and truly the best view, right on the water. Kitchen could be better equipped with crockery etc. Sleeps 6 adults and 2 children comfortably.
The unit needs some attention. Both showers do not have shower doors or curtains themselves. The tiles are very slippery and are very dangerous especially when wet. It is inconvenient to go to another complex to receive the documentation before you can check into the unit. Parking is limited and access to unit parking is complicated by other units' vehicles obstructing the entrance.
Very unhappy about the cleanliness and availability of certain items in the units. We rented 5 units for 5 nights. There were 2 units that were not clean and one of the units did not have coffee cups, as well as broken forks and knives. Only one unit with a corkscrew. It's the Cape. How are we supposed to drink wine if we can't open the bottles? The large Unit's kitchen cupboards were broken and 2 drawers could not open at all. The sliding doors and some windows' seals that are old and need to be replaced. The wind whistles so hard through them that people struggle to sleep. The large unit's one sliding door is so overgrown with the flowers. One cannot use the stoep at all. One can see that a lot of money has not been put into the units to keep them updated for new visitors. We struggled for 2 days with the Mykonos Tags which did not want to work, but believe it was out of Raaswater's control. We would love to visit the place again and would recommend it to many if the things mentioned above are worked on. They can be happy the views were beautiful enough to take your attention away from it most of the time.
No coffee, sugar etc. Will conditionally not recommend the place to any friend of mine. If everything mentioned above is not part of your package, it should have been transferred to me so that I brought the necessary equipment and tools with me.

We booked on the lower floor, on arrival we were moved to the roof room with a better view without price increase. It was a wonderful view and everything was perfect with restaurants within 100 m of the accommodation. Excellent value for money!

Raaswater is ideally located with a beautiful view of the bay at Club Mykonos. The unit we stayed in was nicely furnished and very neat and clean. We were within walking distance of the restaurants and casino. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and we will definitely do it again. The staff were very friendly and stayed late to receive us the first night.
Suggestion to have the toilet window frosted for privacy, which overlooks the braai area of the next unit.
Leak in kitchen above sink, this might become a problem in future. Please stipulate the location of the flat as I booked for my dad and his wife and they are not so young anymore and they had to climb the stairs.
The place has a really nice view of the sea. I have no complaints. The getaway was wonderful and the place has everything it should have.
We really enjoyed it and being able to use Mykonos' facilities is great. Disappointed that it was two three-quarter beds and not a king size as advertised on the website, nothing is also mentioned about braai facilities in the room itself.
The 22:00 silence rule clearly does not apply to everyone as our neighbors played rock-hard music until the morning hours.

Stunning location, but the owners could really spend more to make the kitchen and bathroom more attractive. No towel rails, no soap dish, have to squat to see in the freestanding mirror, no door between kitchen and bathroom, the scents mix well. Never tried cooking, utensils absolutely scrappy. Really, for a few rand that kitchen and bathroom can be made very compact and friendly. Cleaners extremely friendly and helpful. Sorry we had to experience the noise and inconsiderate behavior of the people next door, had to silence them on 2 occasions.
Would definitely recommend. Wardrobes would be recommended.
The staff, literally everyone, were thoughtful and always friendly, we will definitely be visiting again. Short and sweet, our 4 day visit. Nine out of ten.
Things to improve at Gemi house: the kitchen has a very small sink area, no storage space and very few cutlery. Braai area's lighting system was faulty. If 2 single beds are moved against each other, 1 mattress must be put on top and not 2 single mattresses. I hope what I say will help improve things.
We had a great stay, and will definitely stay there again. However, an upgrade can definitely be done. Neither of the 2 showers had glass in the doors. The kitchen cupboards were not cleaned very well. The fridge door was full of moldy food. I assume the previous guests made a fire in the braai, the braai was indeed cleaned but that smell of smoke was very noticeable. The sliding doors were definitely not opened after the time to get the smell out. It was very unpleasant to walk in and get that smell, especially since it was still stuffy. Apart from the few things, I will definitely stay at Raaswater again. View was great and you are so semi private. The service was very good and the people very friendly. I can recommend Raaswater.
The unit however, is poorly furnished. The kitchen is missing some basic utensils (toaster not working) and the bathrooms do not have shower doors/curtains, so water is sprayed everywhere. Also having a bed in the upper stairwell area isn't great, my son was cold during the night, with wind blowing through the little gaps in the windows. Can I suggest that you put 2 single beds in one of the bedrooms. Very happy with the indoor braai, it worked wonderfully.
Had a nice time with family. Slightly disappointed this time as the unit was not very clean, especially the kitchen and stove. The kitchen was sparsely equipped and it was a struggle to braai. The unit's (Alpha) bathroom is very uncomfortable (shower and toilet). Maybe we will have better luck with a different unit next time as we like the location.
The unit itself was suppose to be a self-catering. It lacked the most basic of utensils, I'm afraid I would not recommend this facility. One expects when you're under the Umbrella of Club Mykonos, you should receive the same service as that. Clearly it was not.
This year it was much more fun at Club Mykonos. Love the fun park for the kids. Was also more active. We enjoyed our time there.
Raaswater is located in Club Mykonos which means you can use all the resort's facilities. It's a cute little place, it just wasn't very clean, especially not the towels and bedding. The place is not very modern, but it has everything you need.
There was someone in our room because we locked it when we went out and when we returned the door was open, and there was nothing done in the room so what he/she was looking for there only they will know. The room's windows were filthy and there was no ventilation or aircon in the room. The curtains also only close certain places and there were people who smoked under one old window and could see everything about us. At least our weekend wasn't too bad considering that there is a lot to do in town, but for the room I would recommend - close it.
The place is very spacious and tidy. It has everything one needs. The beds and bedding are of good quality. Will stay there again, but only for longer.

Raaswater (duet apartment) has a beautiful view of the sea and Club Mykonos. The apartment is comfortable. Use of Mykonos' facilities is a plus.
Attention should only be paid to the lighting in the kitchen and living room.
On the negative side, there was no washcloth/sponge/drying cloth for dishes. We had to use the two towels provided for three days as they were not replaced.
The apartment building is a bit on the older side. Soon paint the balconies for sure. Apart from that the stay was lovely. Walking distance from all places. Thank you very, very much. Will drop by again.

We stayed in the Tesra 4 bedroom unit, views were particularly beautiful! For R20 you can use all of Club Mykonos' facilities for your entire stay! Safe, clean, beautiful. Would definitely recommend!

We were also not offered tags or the option to buy them. This resulted in us not having access to any of the Mykonos facilities. We tried to buy tags at Reception and they would not sell this to us saying that Raaswater should have issued them to us. We have had better experiences and were left disappointed.
It was a self-catering unit but there was not even an egg lifter or decent spoons for serving up. The dishcloths were absolutely disgusting and I would not even clean my floors with them. The blinds in the bathroom look like it has not been cleaned for at least a year. When a person books a short getaway you do expect to find a place that makes you feel happy and comfortable. The mattress cover had blood on it by the way. We booked for 3 people and we only had towels for two. Having to ask for everything really makes us feel like we complaining and that is not the kind of people we are. We do not expect perfection but just the basics would have been nice. We did receive cleaner dishcloths and the extra towel but we feel it was unnecessary to have to ask for such basic items.

The room really needs an upgrade. We really wasted our money at this place. It was so cold in the room my wife and my son were sick when we left. The wind blew under the door and lifted the curtains in the room. It was terrible. We had to pack pillows against the door and hang blankets over the curtains. In the kitchen the fridge also leaked water and there wasn't enough crockery. We were 3 people and there was only 2 plates in the kitchen. The kitchen utensils were disgusting. There wasn't even a braai dish in the kitchen. The TV in the room also played very badly (snowy black and white picture). The lady at the Crystal Lagoon Lodge did offer to move us into a guest house as well as fix the TV. We were already all moved in and it was going to take lots of effort to pack up and move to another place. I just find it unacceptable that the standard of this place in so bad. I would really not want other guests to go through what we went through.
Walls were very dirty, the barbecue grills were unbelievably dirty and worn, fridge froze our salad vegetables and in the process we had to drive daily to buy fresh, sheet on the bed is too big for the bed and very uncomfortable, crockery fits smoothly not together (looks like it was just thrown together in a hurry). For the amount paid per night, one might expect more detail regarding this. A frying pan and plastic tray or two could also help.

Very small and not adequate value for money. Room very hot, no fan. Fridge was leaking water, and for this money they could have at least emptied your bin.
Benefits of this stay was the location and free WiFi and DStv. Disadvantages, everyone sleeps in one room with the braai and the living room. No space. No sliding door to get some fresh air. It would be better for 2 people. There are no closets just an open arrangement on which everyone has to hang clothes. A small 2-plate stove makes it difficult to really cook food. The kitchen is ideal for tea and coffee. Did not want to braai because everything smells of smoke. Has only 4 windows for fresh air, and the entire parking area can see into your room when the sun starts to fall. I'm really very disappointed. Maximum 2 nights are recommended.

Accommodation comprises six individually decorated studios with beachfront views. Studio Gemi and Studio Betah both have one bedroom which sleeps 2 people. These studios are on the ground floor and have an indoor braai/fireplace, kitchenette, and an en-suite shower, basin and toilet. Studio Duet has the same amenities and is located on the top floor.
Studio Tesra comprises one bedroom with a king bed, and 2 single beds in the lounge. This studio is on the top floor and has a mini kitchenette, an en-suite bathroom and 2nd bathroom with a shower, basin, and toilet in each, a mini kitchenette and Weber braai facility. Studio Alfa has the same amenities but has 2 bedrooms with a king bed in each and 1 single bed in the lounge.
Studio Delte has a putt-putt view and 2 bedrooms. It is on the top floor and comprises a mini kitchenette, bathroom with a large shower, basin, and toilet, and a weber braai facility.
Raaswater Exi and Raaswater Octo are 2 self-catering apartments, both with indoor braai facilities, an open-plan living area, large room cupboard and a kitchen with a fridge, freezer, microwave, stove, oven, crockery and cutlery. Raaswater Exi can accommodate 4 adults and 1 child and has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. Raaswater Octo can accommodate 6 adults and 2 children and has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, one of which is en-suite.
Raaswater guests can arrange breakfast in Crystal Lagoon Lodge, situated in Calypso Beach. Mykonos resort hosts a sought after yacht harbour, Cape Town Fishmarket, Kapstadt Brauhaus, Dockside Cafe, Marcs Beachbar, Boesmanland farm kitchen, casino, games room, gym, indoor- and outdoor swimming pools, putt-putt and tennis courts, and laundromat.
