The nicest, cleanest and most comfortable place we have stayed in a very long time. It felt like home. Everything was silver clean and tidy. The decor is stunning. The beds and bedding are of the best quality and slept wonderfully. Even our kitten was calm and at home from the first step. Dalene is a stunning person and hostess. Thank you very much for the raisins and your beautiful place. We will come again for sure.

Lovely stay. Raisin Nest is an incredibly beautiful place, spacious and with a well-equipped kitchen. The hostess is very friendly and hospitable, and the accommodation is very private, but still close to her home. A beautiful view of the vineyards was a treat! I would definitely want to stay there again.
Wow, the cottage decor is so different, artworks on the walls are so unique, the whole place is super. It has everything you need, plus small touches that are above average.

I found my place away from home. Absolutely everything about Raisin Rest makes me want to take the N7 to Vredendal every week. The decor, the little garden, the comfort, Dalene's incredible hospitality, nice talks and support with a flat car tire. This is my place - I love it.

We had a wonderful stay at Raisin Rest, and felt so at home there. This self-catering farm cottage is extremely well-equipped as a self-catering unit and truly exquisitely furnished. A relaxing place to desire - a dream cottage in the countryside.

Wow! What a beautiful place. Private. Quiet. Restful. Vineyards are your view. Light. Everything I needed was there. Lovely duvet and electric sheet. Authentic, modern. Warmly received. Dalene is a warm-hearted person. And that care can be seen in her little house. Simply put: lovely.
Communication with Dalene was smooth and she passed on all the necessary information to find them easily and ensure access even though she was not at home. A tail wagging Jesica made the welcome. Most importantly, there is power, you do not know about load shedding! Good, reliable, secure WiFi. Variety of coffee and tea with a long-life milk and delicious biscuits. Kitchen fully equipped and for the men an indoor braai with wood. The beds feel like you're sleeping on a cloud and soft down duvets and pillows to wrap you up in until the birds sing you awake. Knee blankets galore if the winter cold can be troublesome. There is an alarm for precaution, but not necessary. Comfortable furniture with a vanmeleve's style. With permission I was able to harvest cuttings from a beautiful garden. Vineyards surround the residence. Will visit again. Beautiful bathroom.
