Raka Cottage met all our expectations and more. Even though there are quite a few steps up to the Cottage, it was thoroughly worth it. The friendly owners were "hands on" all the time and helped and provided us with extra necessities. Garden is incredibly beautiful and we enjoyed sitting there and grilling a little meat. Will recommend them for sure.

An excellent place to stay if you want to explore the Lowveld a bit! A very private, neat and well-equipped cottage in a typical Lowveld garden among the rocks and large trees. Fresh fruit and flowers immediately make you feel at home and welcome.
Raka Cottage is excellent accommodation. The cottage is very stylish with very good linen and all the necessary amenities. Norah was very friendly and supportive and it was a pleasure to have her as a hostess. I can recommend Raka Cottage with confidence.

We had a lovely stay at Raka Cottage. The cottage has everything you need, including a hairdryer. She provides coffee/tea, biscuits, fruit, muesli and yogurt for breakfast. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering.

From arrival to departure owner was always available. Beautiful and fully equipped for 2 people. Very safe.
Highly recommend staying at Raka Cottage, from the minute we arrived we were treated like royalty. The cottage was nice and clean and surrounded by all the trees really had a most relaxing atmosphere. Fresh fruit daily and a muesli and yogurt breakfast with a juice. Norah was a real help when we needed to find specific shops and every time we returned to a little chocolate on our pillows. Norah we will definitely be seeing you again.
Arrangements went smoothly, very professional. My spouse and I enjoyed Raka Cottage very much, it's clean, neat, safe and private. Would definitely recommend it, of the highest quality.
