Room is comfortably furnished although some items are old and tired. Needs an upgrade. Air conditioner works well and outdoor grill on porch is a winner. Enough space with all accessories for a pleasant overnight stay.
The owner put us in a different unit than we booked. We gave permission for this ahead of time but the unit we got was not in the same class as we booked, it is also checked out at a lower rate than the unit we originally booked and we also didn't get a discount. The unit was also not very clean.
It was nice. Just sorry not power with loadshedding. Everything nice and clean. Room just a bit old. Has a wet floor smell. We just moved out of rondavel for other people.

The house and gardens are beautiful. However, no provision has been made for load shedding. A few candles, but nothing to light them with. Very weak plastic lamp that had not been charged for a very long time. Wifi also doesn't work during load shedding. Hard towels, soap, etc. also needs upgrading.
Had a one night stay in the Clementine, Bonheur and Alpine rooms. Lovely rooms with all you need. Slept so well on the comfy, clean beds. WiFi was great. The best part was the luscious garden and common areas to sit in. Very nice and relaxed host.

The guest house is on a farm, beautiful and peaceful surroundings. The rooms have exterior doors - so it was lovely to sit outside and visit. It's a beautiful guest house that is very nicely furnished. However, the reception by the hostess was inappropriate. As two single women traveling together (one of whom is a foreign visitor) booked the Clementine room advertised as twin beds. However, upon our arrival the room was not so prepared. The hostess' reception and handling of the case did not make us feel very welcome.
We could not view DStv due to the owners handling of the channels.
So to speak in town, but still on the farm. Close to a host of wine farms. Perfect.

We had a wonderful stay at Randrivier. Definitely a five star experience.
The owners greeted us warmly and they even had some chats with us on the stoep about Robertson and what the town offers. They explained everything, like how the security gates worked. The garden is a paradise with lovely seating where guests can sit and relax. Would love to go there again.
We stayed in the room with a bed in the main bedroom, and the single bed in the lounge. It was neat, tidy clean and well looked after. The owner allowed us to have a braai and used their facilities, it was an amazing time to unwind and bond with coworkers. The air conditioner worked its magic to have the room nice and cozy. I can definitely recommend them for your well deserved nap time, the views of the vineyards with the misty clouds in the morning is breathtaking, and if you are an early riser absolutely a view to be enjoyed so cool and crisp in the morning.

Although they advertise B&B, there is no breakfast served and only bad coffee in the rooms. The shower is clogged and had to stand up to my ankles in dirty water.

Our experience at Randrivier Guesthouse was brilliant. It's even more beautiful than it looks on the website and the rooms are in a whole other class. We will definitely stay there again and I can definitely recommend it.
The room was very private and we had our own "back door" so we didn't have to move through the main house which was perfect for us. The place was perfectly clean and tidy and they have the most beautiful garden with a peaceful atmosphere.

No request was too much effort to accommodate our family. The heated panels was great and kept the rooms warm on arrival. During winter it is always important for guest houses to have enough warm water and we were able to take warm showers and baths without any trouble. We will definitely go back!
Guesthouse is beautiful - room clean and neat. The only criticism we had is that the walking trail that we took on the farm (3.5 km one) was not very clearly marked. At first we walked in completely the wrong direction, turned around and with the help of a farmer we found the right trail.

Aunt Jeanette and Uncle Frans are lovely. Very good service, neat accommodation, very quiet and nice and close to the town if you want to buy something soon. Nice close to all the restaurants too.
There are beautiful gardens and a nice environment. They could pay some attention to cleaning the showers, especially the water that leaks on the floor. Rooms were pretty clean. Reception was also very friendly and you feel right at home when you walk in there. Many thanks also for the help with the reservation for dinner at the restaurant. They might also do a little painting in the room we were in. Other than that, everything was very nice.
We were kindly received and the accommodation was great. Nothing went wrong and would recommend it anytime and would use the accommodation again if we go in that direction again.
