Nice view of river.
Denise and Morgan really went out of their way to make us feel at home, there was even a bottle of wine on ice when we arrived! Thank you so much for the hospitality, kindness and the treat!
Stunning and a beautiful place.
We had a very pleasant stay, Denise is an incredible host! Pity we could not use the swimming pool, unfortunately, we assumed it was available to guests since it was photographed.
Victer is very helpful and goes out of his way to make you feel at home. Will stay there again. Ideal for boating.

If serene is what you are after...this is the place to be. It was not difficult to find, their signage is quite clear. Bertus is a very friendly guy. We had one of the river facing rooms and it was clean and a good size. The bathroom is really spacious.There is a bench and a set of chairs outside the room on the veranda which is a great place to have drinks whilst gazing at the river. We had a braai by the river at sunset. The area is unbelievably clean and great for pictures too. We spent our afternoon lazying by the pool. Wow this is our best Christmas experience yet. The restaurant is not yet functional, however.
Everything was of the best, except safety in today's life is high on my priority list, so I have to mention this, there were no keys in locks, except one small key in the big security door, others you could at will open, as well as no reading lights, only one roof light. There was also no Afrikaans TV channel, with such a beautiful setup we really missed it. Thank you very much for the wonderful stay.
Rapid Dawn is a beautiful serene location for a couples gateway. The rooms are beautiful and the owner extremely pleasant and nice. We didn't particularly appreciate the absence of shower cap for my wife. On the second night our bedding was not changed and there was no hairdryer. Besides this issues we didn't like it was a beautiful place for us to unwind.
