The main bedroom is furnished with a double bed and the second room with 2 single beds. The mezzanine sleeps 4 and is divided by built-in cupboards; on either side of the cupboards, there are 2 single beds. The unit has 2 bathrooms with a bath and a shower. Bedding is provided but guests please need to bring their own towels.
The spacious unit has a kitchen that is equipped for self-catering with a stove and oven and a fridge. Guests can relax in the lounge which has a fireplace or make use of the braai facilities on the patio. Mooihoek is pet-friendly, but small dogs please need to be kept on a leash.
The guest farm does not have any fences, and game such as black wildebeest, eland, zebra, and blesbok roam freely, and guests may even have the joy of having them visit. Bring your camera, paints or binoculars and enjoy the scenery.
Guests can climb the mountain, which offers a view off Lesotho and Clarens, test their 4x4 on the 2 routes available, which is graded 3 to 5, or bring their mountain bikes and explore the farm. Nearby activities such as horse riding, target shooting, fishing and white water rafting can also be enjoyed.

Place was comfortable and clean, owner was available when needed. The suggestion I do have is to advise people of the dirt road leading up to the house. One needs to ensure they have the right type of vehicle when booking. Definitely not a road for anything less than a four-by-four vehicle.
Very nice stay on the farm for a reasonable price, the accommodation is great, just as advertised. Wynand assisted me quickly with wood and charcoal on demand. Will definitely stay there again if I'm in the area.
Would only recommend leaving a towel on each bed.

A service charge of R50 will be charged if the guests require the unit to be serviced daily. Services will include cleaning the braai/fireplace as well as washing dishes and cleaning the kitchen. Any additional services must be arranged directly with the Rebellie Gaste Plaas management. The service charge is divided between the workers and can be left on the kitchen table when the unit is finished.
