I would recommend this accommodation any day. The unit was neat, clean and had decent furniture. The layout was done with care and the atmosphere cozy. The staff were very helpful and extremely efficient. The breakfast and the fact that it was served on time was just a pleasure. The location is good and one felt safe. Everything was fine with my booking and my stay. Given that I had arrived and we would be in Phase 6 of Eskom load shedding from 5 o'clock until after 9 o'clock in the evening, they contacted me earlier in the morning and asked if I would mind them grilling us something for dinner and I really appreciated it as most of the eateries/restaurants would be closed and not reopen after that. The breakfast the next morning was also very nice before I left!
Just a pity we didn't already know on Saturday morning, June 11 that our breakfast was included, because then we might have done a better Kremetart bike race. The cutlery was only served meagerly, because there were three of us and unfortunately there was not three of everything.
It was really a very nice overnight stay! Suggestions we have for Red Roof are: We were in room number 3, there were two three-quarter beds in it, but I got a little cold, because (probably by accident) there was only one extra blanket. So they might put a little more blankets in the rooms for the winter period.
We booked Red Roof Gastehuis as we needed a stop over in the middle of TC Eloise. We were soaked to the bone (we are on motorbikes) and the staff are super helpful! They organised extra towels, a dinner meal and bike parking right outside our room with no fuss at all. We were so cold by that point that we really really appreciated it. The food was lovely as well!
Unfortunately, the staff, who also live on the premises, hung their laundry all over the porches' lattice fences in full view of where the guests arrive and park. It created a terribly poor impression! Room 2's bed's mattress is absolutely done, the bathroom has no place to put clothes or a bathroom bag, you have to put it on the floor.
No hot water, TV not working properly, they said we could barbecue and we couldn't. No untyt found.
Well. Nothing to complain about.
We found the Red Roof to be neat and clean and the staff very helpful and polite.

Well situated within a 1,2 km from the race start. Nice, clean room and hot shower after the cycle race. Ideal for a 2 night stay if you are out and about all day. Restaurants nearby.
We received more than customer service. The staff went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible and were very helpful. The breakfast was top quality.
