We had a wonderful stay in the extremely neat and comfortable cottage.
Hosts were lovely. Reed Cottage was delightful and Stanford is a magical little town.

Great value for money.
We were in Stanford over the long weekend in Sept when the storm struck, so the circumstances were not ideal, as the town didn't have comms, electricity or wifi for 1. 5 days. Anne & Martin assured us we could stay an extra night if necessary (as the roads back to Cape Town were all closed). They even invited us for dinner the one night. They were very hospitable & did the best they could under the circumstances. We had a lovely stay & will definitely be back!

Good location in Stanford. Peaceful area and nicely located to explore the town on foot. The owners are well-informed regarding the town. Exploring the historic houses and buildings of Stanford was very interesting. Beautiful area and places to visit in the town.
The google map to the address is wrong, just follow the street numbers like in the days before cell phones.

Comfortable two bedroom self catering apartment with separate bathroom. The living area is large and spacious with a lovely covered porch outside. Beautiful tree-rich surroundings close to the river and walking path and yet close to shops.
The cottage is spacious and well equipped. There is also a large porch outside. Very nice bathroom with good shower. Although the owners also live on site it feels very private.

The place is perfectly located! It was neat, clean and had all amenities. It was nice and private and the owners are very friendly and helpful. Nice walking distance from the river and nice quiet and peaceful. Was very safe, value for money and would definitely recommend!
