Accommodation consists of 4 self-catering chalets and 2 structures safari tents, each with an en-suite bathroom. The beautifully appointed luxury chalets can accommodate a maximum of 4 adults and 2 children. Each consists of 2 bedrooms, large bathroom with shower, bath and toilet, an additional toilet and an outdoor shower. An upstairs loft can accommodate single guests and children.
We are inspired to be as environmentally friendly as possible. All our power is derived from wind and solar while each house also has its own solar geyser. All guests are encouraged to use natural and bio-degradable shower and bath products to prevent contamination of ground water.
Reflections Eco-reserve is the perfect getaway. Great swimming beaches are 15 minutes away as well as beautiful forest walks, mountain biking, canoeing, golfing and bird watching. Our bird count so far exceeds 140 species, including a breeding pair of African Fish Eagle that provides year round spectacular viewing. In the greater area, the species count exceeds 200 and includes many endemic species. We have our own S.A.T.O.U.R and F.G.A.S.A registered guide who is a very keen birder and can assist you in this area.
We have an active land rehabilitation programme in place and have so far cleared 26 hectares of alien vegetation. The indigenous vegetation is already thriving and each new season produces new plant highlights and furthers our goal of greater plant diversity.

12 guests' feedbackBeautiful very spacious and tidy wooden chalet in nature, just before Sedgefield. Closer to Sedgefield than to Wilderness. Far from the highway and sea. Dirt road and fairly thick sand up to the chalet. Would be handy if there was a soap dish on the wall for your soap and shampoo etc. to put up so that it does not have to stand on the shower floor - especially for older people. More towel arrangements so 6 people can hang towels would also be handy. There were 4 of us and 2 took a cold shower the first 2/4 days. The owner was a bit unhappy when I asked them to switch our geyser to electricity early in the morning so that we could at least take a hot shower - especially if you paid a lot of money for the accommodation. I WhatsApped a nice 'thank you' message for our stay and good wishes to the owner at the end of our stay and heard nothing back from the owner.
5 enjoyable nights in mother nature, far enough away from the world to truly relax, and close enough when the urge for adventure burns. So glad we found the reserve, the owners are involved heart and soul so that our holiday here was an absolute highlight, truly 'a December to remember.'
Cozy and comfortable, amenities are reasonbly basic, no electrical appliances such as a microwave etc. and perhaps before booking enquire re hairdryers etc. as reserve is "off the grid" from what I could determine. It doesn't detract from the stay however, it can get cold as a result of being next to the vlei, very cozy fireplace to fight off the chill. Some amazing bird watching, great location, close to hiking trails and close enough to the beach, very private, had a very relaxing time. Hosts were very friendly and helpful and even the dog comes for a regular check-in for some ball sports!

Our third time at Reflections. The chalet is always clean. We had many peaceful afternoons on the deck watching for the turtles roaming around the garden. Would definitely recommend!
We had a lovely weekend in one of the luxury tents. We had everything we needed including a small kitchen, braai area and bathroom with a semi open air shower. The tent was so neat and beautiful. The area is peaceful and picturesque. We also went for a walk and admired the scenery. We would definitely recommend Reflections Eco-Reserve and would definitely like to return.

Reflections Eco-Reserve offers luxury tented accommodation just outside Sedgefield. Practically furnished to ensure a special "glamping" getaway. Equipped with a small kitchen, a semi-open-air bathroom, a wooden deck and your own braai - more than enough for that special getaway with your spouse. Units are far enough apart to ensure a private bush camping experience.
It was something out of another world. We were received with open arms. It is a beautiful place. This is a place we will see again very soon. The house is something to experience. We can't thank you enough for our time there. Out of the books. It's heavenly there.

The accommodation was absolutely amazing, it is clean, well equipped and ideally located.
If you are part of the new generation that wants to put something back into Mother Nature, this is the place to start. Tim freely shares his knowledge, the surroundings are beautiful, the chalets are clean and quality in detail is not spared. A rest for the soul and the peace of mind that your "footprint" is light while you are on vacation. Worth every penny!
