The houses are powered by solar panels and gas geysers and comprise 1 or 2 bedrooms and a kitchen. The bedrooms are furnished with double beds and single beds, and each house has a separate, private bathroom with a shower and a toilet. The bathrooms are 15 m away, and the path is lit at night.

Quiet place atmosphere for long visits around the fire or on the porch. Definitely our family and friends first choice for our annual getaway.
What a wonderful place to stay. Toinette gave such great directions that we knew exactly where we were going. On arrival, we were met with a beautifully clean cottage that had everything we needed, which made traveling such a pleasure (we travel lightly). The cottage is super safe as there isn't traffic along the road. If you're looking for peace, tranquility, and something out of the city, then this is it! Even the little walk to the toilet isn't anything to sneeze at. It's quite awesome and at night the path is lit. The host is also a very warm and welcoming lady who we instantly connected with. There are some lovely mountain bike trails around the area that are safe to go alone. We even got to enjoy a cuppa while watching the beautiful big black cows munching at the river bed. We honestly would give this place a higher star rating. We loved it and will be back. Such value for money as well.
You land on a farm where you can only stop! Freedom - Peace - Kindness - Terrible Awesome Nature. A paradise for dogs - a fireplace for a nice visit - bring your hiking boots, mountain bike and marshmallows - then you're sorted!

The tranquility of the Overberg invigorates body and mind. The cottages have everything you need to relax comfortably. The owners are helpful and hospitable. We will definitely book here again and again!
Lovely, peaceful setting along the river. The cottage has everything one would need and is completely off-grid - which was great as I was not impacted by load shedding. I really enjoyed my stay, as well as the walks around the farm. The hosts were very welcoming. I would visit again.
From the friendly welcome to the beautiful landscapes, this accommodation provided us with a lovely long weekend. We were cordially invited to explore the farm and surroundings. There were peaceful walks all around the farm and beautiful landscapes to enjoy. The location is also ideal if you want to visit attractions such as Greyton, Caledon or Hermanus.

We were very kindly welcomed upon our arrival. The cottage has everything one needs, and the location is perfect for those who need to break away from the city noise. We will definitely come back again.
Remkuil is the perfect place for a weekend getaway from Cape Town. It is conveniently located to Genadendal and Greyton for a quick lunch or to visit the market there. It is also very close to the Hemel-en-Arde valley. There is a nice walking trail on the farm and also plenty of opportunity for bird watching. The house was well equipped and comfortable. The weekend there exceeded our expectations and we will definitely visit again.
The tranquility of the farm lets you relax quickly. The cottages are adequately equipped with everything needed. Very neat! The owners went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed and were incredibly hospitable. If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city, this is definitely the place.
Plenty of sheep on the farm. Stunning views. There's also a dam with a rowing boat which you can use. We definitely plan to visit again!
The activities on offer are fantastic. There are a pretty good few options. It's in a quiet and peaceful area with a wonderful view and it's always nice to have privacy. Definitely a good getaway option.
A perfect getaway. Everything was very neat and clean. The indoor braai is a winner when the wind picks up.

Chose Remkuil as it was close to the gathering place. Coincidentally on the same farm. Had a nice stay and the place is neat. Silence was heavenly. Hostess also came to welcome us. Very centrally located for places to visit. Wine farms and Greyton are a must. We had a nice stay.
