The area is safe for walks and jogs, and its proximity to Wits University made it an ideal location for me. I truly got more than my money's worth. I’ll definitely be returning!

This was such a beautiful stay. Very serene and calm, safe and private. The hosts are so friendly and welcoming, including the doggo who added extra love. They gave such great recommendations on places to visit and see within the area. The room matches the images, very clean and has all these cute touches to make it feel like a home away from home. Our room came with breakfast prepared by the host, which was really good. We sat outside with the background variety of birds to spot and hear. There is parking with own access (come and go as you need to) and amenities in the room for your comfort. More than enough blankets for the cold if necessary. Overall, a lovely place. Will definitely be back soon.

The accommodation is a house, it is excellently located in a quiet part of the city. It is safe and the rooms are very neat and clean. Would definitely recommend and will be my first stay from now on when I go to the city.

There was a municipal power outage the entire afternoon and evening of my stay. Hostess, Helen was constantly following up and passing on information, and the room was well equipped with candles, flashlights etc. for the darkness. I appreciated it. We flew up from Cape Town to Johannesburg on business. I was looking for a safe place for me and my business partner to each have our own separate rooms with en-suite bathrooms and secure parking for our airport rental car. Helen and her husband received us kindly, and our stay was more than we could have asked for. Painfully neat and clean, the garden feels like you are in a fairy tale world and all the facilities were at our disposal. Every morning the most delicious breakfast was offered and we felt at home and comfortable as soon as we stepped inside. A real gem in the city centre.

Breakfast was lovely and owners very helpful especially in recommending Christopher to collect me from Rosebank Gautrain and take me to Wits early the following morning. Remote Corner ticked all the boxes of a good B&B for me. My accommodation was private, quiet and comfortable. The location was central to all my destinations and easily accessible from the highways. The hosts have supplied all one's safety, eating and living needs with thoughtfulness and simplicity. Most of all, the rates are attractive and will ensure my return.
We were warmly accepted by our hosts and due to unforseen changes on the host's side we were given a choice of other rooms to stay in which were better than what we booked.
