Rendezvous is a modern, self-catering holiday apartment set on the banks of the Bushman's River in a quiet cul-de-sac. This is a double story home. The lower level apartment, which is let out, has its own entrance, is completely separate, and has exclusive use of the lower level decks including the viewing deck. As this is the owners’ holiday home, they are on occasions in residence in the upper level. In spite of this, the lower level remains completely private due to the shutters installed on the upper viewing deck.
The apartment can accommodate up to 8 guests (best suited to 4 adults and 4 children) and comprises 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and an open-plan kitchen and living area. The main bedroom contains a queen-size bed, the second bedroom 2 single beds and the living room 2 bunk beds. The one bathroom has a bath and shower, the other a shower. Bath towels are provided, but guests need to bring their own swimming towels.
The unit is fully equipped with all necessary bedding, crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils. Cooking facilities including a microwave, 2 induction stove plates, convection oven, a pizza stone for use with the gas braai, electric frying pan and a four-slice snackwich maker is provided. For additional storage of frozen goods, a chest freezer is provided and for your convenience a washing machine.
DStv Now and Netflix is provided. Wi-Fi is available at an additional cost.
The outside deck areas are kept under lock and key and used at their own risk. For additional safety, a barrier gate is situated on the walkway to the viewing deck.
Off road parking is available and can comfortably cater for 2 vehicles, or a vehicle and a boat. The unit is protected with 24 hour armed response cover.
No pets allowed, and no portable braais as we do not allow any open fires.

Very comfortable house. Very pretty.
Everything was perfect and beautiful. Sometimes you just need the break and silence and natural beauty. In the morning you are greeted by birds and sometimes a monkey or two. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
Had a great stay, spacious porch and nice place to sit next to the river and watch birds. Definitely the best place to shut off from the outside world.

Ons het ons 11 jaar huweliksherdenking hier spandeer. Plek is pragtig, ingerig met alles wat nodig is. Baie baie netjies. En bonus is natuurlik om soggens deur voëls wakker gemaak te word en heeltyd op die Boesmansrivier uit te kyk. Gaan beslis terug met die gesin.

Because I usually vacation with my married children, I would prefer 3 bedrooms with 3 double/double beds.
Spacious, comfortable apartment. It's nice to sit on the observation deck and watch the river and different bird species.
The place that was really very nice. There is nothing to complain about. Everything you need for a few days away from home is provided here. Only the WiFi is not as advertised. But the rest is just fantastic.

The general consensus amongst my family was that we did not spend enough time at the location, they enjoyed it so much. I would recommend it to anyone looking for some peace and tranquillity.
Rendezvous is a must for any one who does DIY, the finishing is perfection, so many good ideas I have taken from this property, the setting, view over the river and bird life in the garden are second to none! The agent was extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble. There does seem to be a heightened awareness of security in the area but this was the only concern.
We as family with 2 children was very surprised at our arrival, not just by the scenic view over the Bushmans River, but also the beautiful, practical accommodation Rendezvous provides. Everything was so pleasurable and relaxation at its best.
It is absolutely a lovely place to stay. It is neat and clean, the decor, everything is fabulous. The owner is very friendly and so is Robyn who came to open for us. Thanks once again.
