René is very hospitable and patiently answered all my questions. Would stay there again anytime.
Made extra effort to make us feel at home and even arranged for grandma a plate of cooked food for dinner. Also one of the few places in Douglas and surrounding area that allows dogs, so this is a big plus for all of us people who travel with their canine children as well.
Slept very well. Amenities are top class.

I managed to visit the confluence of the Vaal and Orange River.
We stayed in rooms 2, 3 and 4. There is a beautiful courtyard with a small swimming pool which we made good use of. Rooms clean, tidy and service friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious with prompt service.

Our room and bathroom were big, clean and decorated with detail. I would recommend it to anyone.
All complaint is the parking. There is not enough parking for all guests. Just make sure about whether breakfast is served and what the breakfast is.
I don't like to complain, and believe the criticism will be constructive. The parking is a huge problem, but I understand that if all the rooms are full then only then will the parking be a problem. There was also a problem with the water pressure at night, I did not report it and believe there is an explainable reason for it. The reception was strange, the person did not introduce herself and the question when I was going to pay was unexpected as I had already paid in full. The bed was nice and the shower was also nice if there is water pressure. We were glad that there was coffee and biscuits in the room.

The mattress was very good quality and the food was excellent.
Hospitable, friendly, neat and value for money.
Rene made us feel at home. The room was neat with a comfortable bed. The airconditioner helped us sleep despite the hot temperature outside.
Everything was clean and neat. We decided late to take our children along and Rene made a plan for a camping bed and matress. Our oldest kid really enjoyed the swimming pool. And Rene goes out of her way to help clients.
The room was comfortable and clean, the breakfast was average. The cleaning and kitchen staff are quite unfriendly.

Good if you just want to spend the night. Secure parking for vehicle. The only downside is the neighbors' dog that barks throughout the night when our bedroom door opens, when we turn on the light or if you just dare to speak. There is a wall between the two plots, but this does not stop the dog's barking. It's very frustrating.
Very nice breakfast, rooms were clean and tidy. Fairly private. Parking area at new section not yet well equipped.
