10 guests' feedbackThe dirt road was terrible, a lot of rain and it was a nervous ride, not very visible signs (actually none). One could not be sure, as no signals were available.
Renosterfontein is a wonderful getaway if one longs for silence and nature. The unit was very neat and well furnished with everything one could need. The extra guest we received on our cold weekend helped a lot and management was helpful and professional. Daily cleaning services were a treat and beds were very comfortable. We will definitely go again in the summer!
Our time at Renosterfontein was just what we expected and more. Quiet and it's quite in such a beautiful environment. We really appreciated the walk and visit, especially because it was quiet and we could bring Milla with us. Thanks to Priscilla, Uncle Flip and the workers. The tour through the tobacco farm was very informative. Our next visit is at the water!
Just what I needed.
Lovely and peaceful. The tented camp was convenient and nice.
We enjoyed our time at Renosterfontein a lot. The highlight for my kids was the drive on the harvester, the washing of the aeroplane and the first time they caught a fish. The accommodation is excellent and the house is well equipped with everything you need, no need to take anything with, everything is there. The cleaners that came in every day was a bonus and not something we expected. The staff's hospitality and talks about the farm and district were much appreciated. There are more than enough open spaces for the kids to run around and play with the dogs. Renosterfontein will definitely see us again in the future and we can recommend it to anyone with families that enjoy the farm life and outdoors.
First of all - road bad. Secondly - not so safe being on a farm. Thirdly - no TV. Not sure if we had to pay or take our own card with.
Friendly welcome, lots of assistance and a comfortable stay. We could fish from the front porch!
We really enjoyed it! The simplicity was beautiful. Clean and neat. Equipped for self-catering. The wood provided came in handy. The cleaner was thoughtful, friendly and efficient. We are always looking for places where our dogs can have a good time, especially near water, and Renosterfontein was the perfect place. We could relax next to the dam and were even lucky enough to catch a fish (catch and release, of course). We will definitely stay here again soon.
Very nice peaceful atmosphere away from all the hustle and bustle, the dirt road was not great but worth the effort.
