The room I stayed in has everything one needs.
I wouldn't say we had a bad stay but were disappointed. The photos on the website and the rooms do not look the same. I think the photos were taken a long time ago. Our roof also leaked when it started to rain. And the permanent residents made noise until the early hours of the morning. There are also an incredible amount of flies and bugs. I think with good maintenance it could be a very nice place.
Very nice place to get away from it all and yet close enough to the town. Very little cell phone reception, thank goodness! Very good value for money.

Rhebok Guest Farm is truly a one in a thousand peaceful nature destination. It is peaceful and quiet. Get away from the city's noise and just clear your head. Thank you very much for your kindness and help in preparing items that we could not bring on the motorbikes. We really appreciated it.

Very nice and peaceful. Staff very friendly. We enjoyed it very much. A sink will help if you are staying for longer periods of time. For overnight or short periods it was sufficient.
Would prefer that there is at least a place to make breakfast. We just drove to town to get breakfast. There was no one at reception when we got there. I called Hester to arrange that we could get into our room.
There were two egg pans for use, toilet has to be opened and closed by wall, otherwise water runs all the time, shower head I had to clean myself, otherwise only two jets of water come out. Website says towels are provided, but no towels, no toasters and graters. Can't stay like this for six days at all, had to go buy food, can't possibly cook there.
Friendly welcoming from owners which made us feel right at home. The self-catering rooms is tasteful and practical. Beautiful surroundings. Peaceful and quiet. It will definitely be my first choice when I visit Klerksdorp again.
The facility answered to our needs. Neat and functional. A separate sink for dishes would be more hygienic. Yet it offers good value for money and I would definitely recommend it. Thank you for the hospitality.

Hester really went the extra mile to make our stay special.
All problems I had is that I asked for a double bed. However, we got two single beds and they were incredibly hard and we couldn't sleep.
We will visit Rhebok guest farm again anytime. Friendly service, neat, quiet and very beautiful surroundings. Will definitely recommend.
Rhebok Gasteplaas offers the ideal accommodation for family groups. Especially to parents with rambunctious toddlers who don't want to feel trapped inside a guest house. The 'farm atmosphere' is wonderful where little ones and parents can quietly appreciate the natural beauty and starry sky!
I feel free to recommend them to anyone. Very calm there and extra effort made for us too. They are very hospitable and very friendly.

We missed interaction with the controllers/owners and them asking if we have any requests regarding our place to stay while we are there. The internet site gives the impression that any guests can make use of breakfast and lunch. It was not available to us. Specific suggestions for house no. 1: Partition between shower/toilet and bedroom/kitchen nook, bed mats on both sides of the bed, crockery that can be used in a microwave oven and a lamp shade over ceiling light bulb. We wrote above that we can recommend Rhebok guest farm, but this is definitely with reservations.
I booked a place on behalf of my husband for 5 nights during the Nampo show. On his arrival on the Sunday evening he was informed that there were double bookings and he might be moved from room during the week. The receipt we received indicated that meals could be arranged. On his arrival he asked if he could make arrangements for the week in which he was informed that this would not be possible. On Monday evening when he returned to the guest farm, his bedding was not there. The landlady brought his bedding and he had to cover his bed himself. On Tuesday evening, the owner waited for him and said that they had moved his belongings to another room (without his permission or knowledge) and that there were other people in his room. The room he was moved to did not have the en-suite bathroom he was quoted for (mountain room 2). Just for information, I would like to mention to the owners, you already knew before his arrival that you had double bookings, so why wait until he comes all the way from the Cape before you tell him? He works for an international company and has visited overseas and African countries for work, never before has he experienced anything like this! Your reviews looked good so I booked a place with you, unfortunately my husband's visit didn't go that way at all, it's shocking to say the least. Needless to say, we will not use your services again and will not recommend you either.
Very nice, peaceful environment. The mountain climb was a good workout and beautiful view. The rooms are very clean and tidy and the hospitality made us feel right at home.
