Beautiful cottage, well equipped with unique experiential opportunities. Definitely a place to visit if you want to feel free in the beautiful scenery.
I would definitely recommend staying at Rhebokskraal! It's a quick 2. 5km walk into town, the cottage is wonderful with the outside bath and absolutely everything you need.

The cottage itself was very cute and cosy with a very comfortable bed and adequate appliances included. Illana was very friendly and helpful and an awesome host who was always available to answer questions about McGregor and always around to assist with any issues with the cottage. The olive farm where the cottage is located is very tranquil and I highly suggest a stroll through the farm to anyone who stays here. All in all, it was a very pleasant stay that accompanied the cute and friendly town of McGregor, where my girlfriend and I had the most incredible meals.
It was wonderfully quiet and comfortable. The linen is just old and washed out. The bed could definitely do with real feather pillows and good Percale linen. And a new fan that doesn't whine all night. Location good.
The outside bath is a must.
We had a great time in McGregor, and had a great time relaxing in Dove Cottage. Dove Cottage is on the farm Rhebokskraal which is located less than 2 km outside McGregor, so close to the town, but still on a farm. There are wonderful MTB routes that start right at the farm gate and you can enjoy walking around the farm. The silence on the farm was wonderful. The hostess was very friendly and helpful. The house is very rustic and the furniture is not in a well-kept condition. Unfortunately, the place creates a tired impression. Extra attention to the house, the equipment as well as to the environment and farm yard could make a big difference. Important to mention that the ceilings in the bathroom and kitchen are very low, as are the door frames and bedroom light. Someone who is taller than 1.85 must walk stooped. It didn't bother too much, but heads were bumped a few times this weekend!

Hospitality was great. Location is beautiful. Herder's hut is unique and very cute. The bath in the orchard under the moon was a great treat. Will definitely stay there again.

Stunning little cottage! Had everything we needed including a braai.
Perfectly situated in terms of location to Run to Nowhere and the MTB race. Dove Cottage accommodation is perfect for a small family with three children. 3 single beds upstairs and double bed on the lower level.
The Dove cottage is a beautiful place to stay, located among the olive groves with a beautiful pond and horses. Amazing customer service. Nicely furnished. The kitchen/dining area could have been a bit bigger.
The immediate environment may also receive more attention. Very dirty, old swimming pool right in front of the cottage.
The cottage is small, but comfortable, chickens around the house and nice, very fresh air. The owners are very friendly and helpful.
Dove Cottage is very cute and gives an old world feel. It is lovely to walk around the farm. There are many farm animals to be seen as well as wildflowers among the olive trees. The hostess is very friendly. Just make sure of the directions. Instead, call the hostess to find out how to get there. The description said there was a fireplace, but it referred to the other cottage on the farm.

The farm setting is beautiful, but the photos look more attractive than reality. Bedding and utensils are unfortunately tired and the hot tap of the bath literally takes an hour to half fill the bath (No shower). problematic if there are 5 people living there. Very steep stairs/ladder to loft, not suitable for family with small children. Friendly hostess, but the practical side spoiled our stay.
Lovely surrounds. Charming and helpful owner, Annalien. Quaint cottage. Would stay there again. Only criticism is that my daughter and I were two women on our own and we felt a bit isolated at night.
Nice seperate with all the basics. Everything you need and nothing you don't need.
Anneline is the perfect hostess! Unfortunately we only stayed 1 night, but this is the ideal place to rest. I would like to stay at least 2 nights to see more of the farm as well as the surroundings. These are well-appointed and equipped accommodations and ideal for couples traveling with friends or parents with grown-up children - each a separate place to stay, but can visit together.
Clean and well equipped house. Great service and Annalien and Corrie were fantastic hosts.
We booked in Dove house, but got another unit. The cottage was clean, but some effort can be made in making it look a little better.
The place is not up to standard compared to some of the other places to stay.
We had a very nice stay for the 2 nights. The Dove Cottage is very small, but everything we needed was there.
