All our expectations were met. Had a great time.
Welcomed by Trudy and what a pleasant person. Everything was explained to us so nicely and she made us feel very welcome. Everything was so clean and tidy and everything is looked after. I recommend Rhinos Rest to any type of person who loves the forest. The house is beautiful and there is everything one needs. 10 out of 10!
This house has all the luxuries and comforts you need in the bush. A pool, big braai area, large veranda, upstairs balcony and great lounging chairs. It is perfectly located near the Crocodile River. We loved seeing all the animals right from the house (huge male kudu, tons of warthog and even 2 giraffes!) and getting into the park was quick and easy. The hosts were very helpful and the house was immaculate. Perfect for exploring Kruger or just napping on the top deck, taking a bath in the claw foot tub or hanging in the pool! Great spot!
Great place to get away from the city's hustle and bustle, quiet to enjoy nature with a fantastic view and many animals that come to visit. The house is well equipped and exceeded our expectations. The management is very helpful, thank you Trudie and Collin.
Excellent service received on arrival. We were kept informed by Trudie of loadshedding schedules, sightseeings, etc. Will definitely stay there again and recommend to people.
The house and surroundings are perfect. No problems. Everything is clean and available. People very helpful.
The location was ideal, very close to the KNP. The facilities were great. The road in and out was terrible, but the accommodation made up for it.
House was perfect for 6 and they made space for 10. Awesome kitchen, fully equipped. Bathrooms were spacious but needed some better lighting.
See stars.
Neat, comfortable and very well located. Would only recommend that an alarm system be installed.
We had a great time at Rhinos Rest. Very good contact with the hosts, and an excellent house that was very well equipped. Fantastic location, you can see elephants and hippos from the house walking in the Kruger.
Sunrises amazing, nice to walk to Kruger fence. A lot of traffic in Seekoei street as it is popular for game drives. Gauze covered window on upper level made the house cold at night as it was mid-winter. House needs emergency lights/globes to help with loadshedding.
Aunt Trudy welcomed us kindly and made us feel at home.
Great for nature lovers and quick drive to the Kruger National Park (KNP), or just view animal life from the house itself in the park or across the river in the KNP. Friendly welcome by the hostess and very informative and ongoing information sharing / advising of happenings in the area.
Friendly hosts who were there to greet on arrival and departure. Accommodation was clean and neat. The animals roaming freely was not a hazard we enjoyed having them close. A great weekend overall.
Accommodation was outstanding with a stunning pool. The view from the house, pool and decks are the most magnificent as you can see the animals that are roaming around Marloth Park and the animals across the road in the Kruger Park. At night we could hear the hippos and lions. What a beautiful place. Highly recommend a stay at Rhinos Rest. Very friendly host.
Very well situated, close to the river and peaceful.
Comfortable and beautiful accommodation with a nice view of the Crocodile River. Can sit on the deck and look into the Kruger Park and see the animals by the river.
Definitely top of our list of houses we've stayed in in Marlothpark. The house is neat and spacious and has everything you need. The view is breathtakingly beautiful. Aunt Trudie welcomed us kindly and she was very helpful. You will see our family again for sure.
The hosts were very welcoming and took time to acquaint us with the house rules, as well as some of the finer details regarding Marloth Park and the amenities within. Rhino's Rest is fully equipped and everything we needed was provided for. There is an excellent view of the Crocodile River from the house and many animals frequent the garden. I would highly recommend Rhino's Rest, and we will definitely return.
This magical place stole our hearts. With easy viewing of the river and a beautiful pool to give a sense of relief from the heat, we didn’t need to go anywhere. The house was easily made a home. We are pleasantly surprised upon arrival as Trudy was incredibly helpful and friendly. We will highly recommend this piece of paradise to our friends and family!
House is very neat. There is more than enough of everything you need. Trudy is very nice, she also sends you where all the animals are if you want to go and see them.
We had a wonderful stay at Rhinos Rest. Trudy was an excellent hostess, the house was very clean and tidy. The house has a beautiful view of the river. The house has a lovely sitting area on top of the stoep as well as down on the stoep. We also had a great time outside at the braai/boma. We will definitely book at Rhinos Rest again. Thanks again Trudy, you made our stay extra special with your excellent customer service.
We really enjoyed our stay at Rhino Rest. Great view and we were lucky to see lots of animals.
Loved the house. Loved the pool. Love the upper deck. Loved the front porch. Loved the location. Trudie is wonderful, she really took care of us and was very accommodating. Highly recommended.
Very neat and well located.
Was a really great experience at Rhinos Rest, the host's of Rhinos Rest was very nice, and told us about all the happenings in the area, so that we can have the full experience of the bush veld. We have seen lots of elephants on the river bank that is just a walk from the house. There was also zebra's coming to the house. We really liked it a lot at Rhinos Rest, especially our friends from the USA. At night we heard lions roaring and hyenas in the distance.
Very nice place. Still building a braai, but there was another option. Will go again soon.
