Cyriacus is fully furnished and comprises 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and an open-plan living area. Two of the bedrooms are equipped with a double bed and the third and fourth rooms feature twin beds. The bathrooms have either a bath or shower, basin and toilet. The kitchen contains all the necessary appliances to prepare and cook meals.
The open-plan lounge and dining area has comfortable seating and a large jetmaster which is necessary for heating in the chilly winter months. Cyriacus has a TV which has a DVD player and DStv connectivity; so guests are welcome to bring their own smart card and decoder. The spacious, relaxing stoep has braai facilities and lovely views. Off-street parking is available for vehicles, and the house is within walking distance to our local restaurants.
Rhodes Cottages- Cyriacus is also a short stroll from the renowned Bell River, where one can go tubing or fishermen can take delight in fly fishing.

10 guests' feedbackWe had a very nice stay. The place has everything you could need. Nice hanging out area outside and inside with the fireplace, especially for the winter months. Nice and big and perfect for a group of people.

The house offers everything needed, even a welcome coffee maker. Enough space and a nice home feeling!
The mountain passes and fly fishing are extremely special.
Spacious, clean and well equipped. Need to get fans for bedrooms as there is no ventilation with windows closed. Can't leave windows open as there are no burglar bars. Cottage ran out of water as owner did not top-up water token, so we were left without water the last day. Not convenient after trail riding the whole day. Jill was very accommodating and gave us access to another house to shower and got owner to reimburse us R1000 for inconvenience.
There are various cottages available at Rhodes Cottages and I believe the service would be the same at all of them. Jill came to see if everything was all right and in working order. We wanted to stay for another day and Jill went out of her way to help us.
Rhodes remains one of our favorite getaway spots. One of a kind. Rest for the soul. Recharge batteries. Walking, motorcycling, cycling and drinking wine in front of the fire!
