The lounge has comfortable wicker furniture as well as a furnished little stoep to relax on. Parking is available on the grassy verge outside the property. Sam’s Cottage is a short stroll from the renowned Bell River where one can go tubing or fishermen can take delight in fly fishing.
The village enjoys regular snowfalls in the winter months.

3 guests' feedbackAlthough everything is supplied and the fact that there was Wi-Fi was a nice surprise, the house and items are old. Windows do not seal. Warmth through an anthracite stove that smokes. Mattresses soft and due to the cold, the bath is luke warm. A step into the past, and although an interesting experience, I am not sure if there are many more options in the area as the town is very small. Loadshedding did not help.
The house was tidy and had all the necessities. The owner was very helpful.
The service was very good from Rhodes Cottages. The house was nice to stay in and the photos showed nicely how the place will look.
