The well appointed living areas have comfortable seating as well as a fireplace which is essential in the winter months. Off-street parking is available. Rhodes Cottages- Tintern is also a short stroll to the renowned Bell River where one can go tubing or fishermen can take delight in fly fishing.

The cottage is well equipped and meets all requirements. Clean bed linen and towels. Communication with the agent was a problem because load shedding and signaling.
Was an amazing house, loved our stay. The house has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a large living area, and an open plan kitchen. Loved the wooden floors.
We were informed upon our arrival that we had been moved to another cottage in Rhodes. It was very nice, except that there were no fire lighters or matches in the cottage. There was wood in the house. The service could have been friendlier.
Spacious house in a beautiful setting. One electric blanket didn't work (was mentioned on a previous review too) and no kettle to use on the gas stove during load shedding.
Very pleasant, pretty cottage, well equipped for chilly nights (although one of the electric blankets did not work). Amid constant loadshedding, it would be helpful if there was a way of boiling water without electricity. The owner was welcoming and helpful.
A lovely cottage in the heart of Rhodes, which makes a great stop-over on the way to Tiffendell.
Rhodes is a special village and Tintern is so central and there is everything one needs to enjoy a holiday there. The bath is amazing! Highly recommended.
Lovely, period, Rhodes Cottage updated with modern bathrooms, comfortable, spotlessly clean and well-equipped, charming and a place that I would not hesitate to recommend to any one wanting luxury accommodation at an affordable price. Will stay again on my next visit to Rhodes.
Shower needs a Jik scrub.
Definitely worth it to visit this little corner of SA ... feels like time froze here. Beautiful cottage ... you feel welcome and loved .. wood already stacked for the fire! Great dinner at pizza restaurant and had a delightful walk in the charming town. Maybe you should just indicate that there is no fuel or shops in the town.
