We felt very welcome and enjoyed the farm life.
We were welcomed like family and treated like royalty! If you need to get away from the hustle and bustle of life, visit Brabeesmond. No TV, no WiFi, just peace and quiet. Cool off in the plaasdam or visit the nursery, walk next to the river, listen to nature. We enjoyed our stay tremendously and are looking forward to our next visit. Thank you, Elma!

Very cute place on a very nice farm. Was very kindly received by owners who made us feel very much at home. Fried buns and raisins were a very nice surprise! Would have liked to stay longer.
The reception was very good. There is no television and it didn't bother us at all. We enjoyed the hiking trail. The nursery and coffee shop are an attraction. The dogs are friendly.
The accommodations are compact, but the beds are comfortable. Little niggles were attended to immediately by the host. We were well cared for, and the kids loved to have the run of the farm and even borrowed our host's bicycle. The braaing space was great and the quality of the wood excellent.
Enjoyed it a lot. Very nice pot bread for breakfast in the morning.
We were received very kindly when we arrived. The directions to the rooms were also very accurate and well received as we didn't arrive until after dark. The nursery was also a nice extra as part of our visit.
It feels like you are closer to your Creator. My friend who stayed with her family in a more expensive place was so impressed that she undertook to make Rietkamer her home for the weekend on her next visit to Marchand. We really had a great time. I would recommend it to any person. I was even able to come home with Rosy Quartz that I got from the hostess.
The owners are very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed the walking route, with the dog as our guide. The room was clean and tidy. We had a very pleasant time at Rietkamer and will definitely use the accommodation again. Loadshedding was the only headache.
We really enjoyed our visit at Rietkamer. We were received very kindly and everything was in place. We were surprised with delicious grapes in the fridge. Could have a nice (and private) visit in the garden in front of our room. And walk everywhere on the farm. Thank you very much for a wonderful visit and stay! We will come again.

Owners so friendly and helpful, barbecue and breakfast were out of the books with freshly baked buns. Such a great time, would book there again for a stay anytime. Was very comfortable and clean.

A quiet farm environment, a lovely place to walk and swim in the farm pond. And then there is delicious coffee and grilled cake at Jaap and a cute succulent plant nursery too. We arrived very late, but were still warmly received and made sure we had everything we needed. If you want to stay indoors all the time, space may seem limited, but there is a lovely place to hang out in the garden under the trees. Would definitely recommend them.
We only slept there one night, rested very well and even got food on the road! Friendly reception.
We had a great time at Rietkamer. It felt like visiting family on their farm. Bella, the dog, kept us company every afternoon when we went for a walk through the orchards. The farm is beautiful and the shop makes the most delicious quiches, pecan nut pies and coffee. We were also spoiled with delicious grilled cake and their own honey which is incredibly delicious, our child ate it with a spoon.
We arrived very late, but the people stayed awake to let us in. Beds are very comfortable and the rooms well equipped with everything you need for an overnight stop.
We think back to life on a farm, the tranquility away from the hustle and bustle with just the chicken.

Rietkamer is a farm stay within a 5-minute drive from Augrabies falls. All we needed were provided by friendly hosts. Nursery and coffee shop on premises. We were free to do walks on the farm.
Close to Augrabies Falls. Two friendly dogs accompany one on walks on the farm. Miggies (gnats) are a real nuisance when walking. Rietkamer does not accept credit cards.
We had a wonderful stay in Rietkamer. The people of the farm are hospitable people and were so kind to show our small children interesting things on the farm. Thanks again!

This is not luxury accommodation, but honest, simple accommodation. Very clean. Room a bit cramped, but we are surprised with fresh grapes from the vineyard every day.
