I really appreciated the stay. The staff were welcoming, from cleaners to the main man, who was so helpful and very open and caring.

I would recommend only because of our host. I suggest to upgrade the guesthouse. It looked more like a hostel for school kids.
I wasn't happy at all, especially with the beds. They are not comfortable, they are too loose. In the toilet, there's no toilet paper. The bathroom has cold water. The fridge was off, and even their heater wasn't working.
Accommodation was very bad, there were no windows with no air-conditioning. I had to look for another place to stay.
Cute little place. Only stayed 1 night but it was comfortable. Wellington was very helpful and check-in went smoothly. He was willing to accommodate us earlier than the check-in time. Would only suggest that maybe a heater is put in room. The Cape winter is mild.
Close to almost anything you could want. Paired with friendly services, it's well worth spending a night here.
We had a nice stay, but paying for accidentally bleeding through on the sheets is not right.
It was nice staying at Rio Guesthouse.
Noise from the street and very thin curtains in front of the window. Cigarette smoke in the room of persons who smoke on the balcony. Especially in the evening.
Friendly. The establishment ca do more irt their inhouse facilities.
No coffee or tea available. Not a safe area for single travelers. Water pressure from the shower was pathetic. TV didn't work.
