The place was spotless - a delicious meal was waiting in the fridge - the place is big and very comfortable. Nice quiet part of the town with everything one might need. Would definitely stay here again and would also love to stay an extra few days.

Perfect for a weekend away or overnight stay. The unit we stayed in was clean and very tidy. This is the second time my husband has stayed there, and he will definitely stay there with future work opportunities.
We stayed in Cottage 3. Very neat and spacious. The couch facing the TV is a bit mushy, and not so comfortable to sit and relax for a long time, but otherwise we had a very nice stay. The bedding was beautifully clean and pure white and the shower floor was also spotless. You just need something to put your things on in the bathroom, but it didn't bother much.

The unit Cottage 3 was in excellent condition and very tidy. Adequate provision has been made for guests' comfort during load shedding. We would definitely stay at River Bend Cottages again and would recommend it to anyone with great confidence.

It was really very nice. All I missed in cottage 1 was a duster. There are no braai facilities like the other cottages and therefore a two-plate stove would work well.
Of all the places we stayed during our July holiday I was most impressed by this place in terms of cleanliness, attention to detail and amenities. The shampoo, soap and freshener were products from the area. It was a blast to use and I wish more places would do posts like this in their units. The bed was a dream! The location is perfect.
