Children were able to keep busy playing tennis and swimming, and the animals being so tame were of course a highlight for them. The location was perfect for the functions we had to attend. Everything you need is in the house.
Very nice stay and lots of space!
The accommodations at River Lodge 23 were great. The fishing was a bit slow, however, the 2 fish we caught were really big, so we released them. Also, we didn't fish all day. The beds were comfortable.
Our children really enjoyed the place with us.
It is very safe. The house is spacious and has a good reception area. There are deer walking between the houses which the children really enjoyed. We will book the stay again in the future.
The visit at River Lodge 23 was very pleasant. Facilities and grounds are incredibly well looked after. Lovely swimming pool close to the unit. House is nice and spacious and has potential, needs some renovation. A good cleaning before guests arrive is a must and will need to be attended to.
Dirty shower, very dirty carpet in lounge area, cramped with stuffed, old, extra furniture.
It is a lovely place for family and friends to get away from the hustle and bustle. Even my little daughter enjoyed it. Space is big and stoep is wonderful to hang out with. Will definitely go again. Marinda made us feel like friends from the start. Thank you very much for allowing us to stay in you.
