My wife and I spent a week there and really enjoyed the tranquility, nice patio, and comfortable indoor area. Hein is a friendly host who went out of his way to make us feel at home. The fact that there is solar power and water supply makes it very convenient. Fenced area with alarm also made us feel very safe. The whole house was exactly as in the pictures. We will definitely go there again. This is already our second visit to River View and we were once again impressed. The beds are wonderfully comfortable. Everything is shiny and clean. We will definitely visit River View again.
Although it was terribly hot, the house was delightfully cool, with tiled floors and air conditioning. The place was neat and very comfortable. Whether we sat inside or outside, there was enough seating for everyone. The river across the road created a lovely atmosphere.

The house has a lovely patio and lovely indoor sitting area. It is reassuring that solar energy is available if load shedding kicks in. The beds are wonderfully comfortable. Our group really enjoyed our weekend here. The place itself is safe and luxurious. All communication with the owner was pleasant. He made sure that we were comfortable and that we didn't miss anything. You won't go wrong if you book this accommodation for a getaway.

We really enjoyed staying at River View. The view is beautiful and it's so peaceful. The accommodation was of a very high standard, clean and neat. Hein and Thelma went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible and I would highly recommend River View to anyone who needs some peace and quiet.
Hein and Thelma were very good hosts who immediately made us feel at home. Everything was explained to us, and mentioned that if we needed anything we could let them know. There would have been possible loadshedding, and Thelma put us out lightly for if needed. The bag of braai wood was also a cremation and came in very handy. The 2 rooms have sleeping space for 3 people each and were very well equipped with very neat bedding, clean atmosphere and air conditioning. There are also 2 lock up garages with electric motors where you can park your vehicle, this came in very handy as it was raining when we got there on Friday. The bliss of sitting at the large stoep table and calmly looking out over the Vaal River is priceless. We will definitely stay there again if we want to go to Paris.

We enjoyed every moment of the visit at River View. The spacious house and porch with the perfect view stole my heart. We were able to relax wonderfully with our children and enjoyed the walk along the river. The bedding was beautifully clean and the house very tidy. The excellent and friendly service of Hein and Thelma is worth more than 10 stars. The rusks, milk, ice, fire wood and water are a great treat. We can definitely recommend River View and look forward to the next break away.
Hein went out of his way to make sure the aircons were installed before we arrived. The house has everything we needed. Even wood and lightning for the barbecue fire. Lovely soft bedding! The house has a nice view of the river, and we were glad that the street in front of the house was not as busy as some other streets in the town with a river view.
