Beautiful setting and scenery. Very nice and clean accommodation.
We were pleasantly surprised by the space, cleanliness and comfort that Kanaan Mabalingwe offered us. The pool and stairs to the boma area are enclosed, so small children can play safely. The house offers all the necessary accessories and we would recommend it anytime to people who want to enjoy a lovely weekend in the bush.
There is no control at home. I don't believe there is any person doing the inventory. There is no feedback after inspection. It seems to me that a deposit refund will never be made. If it were my house I would find another agent as soon as possible.
The best place I have seen. The issue is the gravel road, but besides that, we had so much fun and we looking forward to our next trip next year.
Very nice place. Clean and tidy. Will recommend. Dirt road of about 8 km and not at main entrance of reserve.
Really enjoyed the house, just a few amenities missing such as a braai grid and sufficient wine glasses. The pictures of the unit are also a bit misleading as 3 other large homes are in very close proximity, so if other surrounding guests are playing music etc you will not enjoy the tranquillity of the bush. A few booking/admin issues over our stay: wrong house number given on confirmation of reservation so we were told there was no key on arrival, water was not working on the one side of the house (no water pressure from showers/taps and toilets could not flush). Game drive vehicle worked on the first morning but would not start thereafter. No compensation offered after it was reported to the owner.
We were very impressed with the accommodation and especially the fact that the pool and other areas typically dangerous for small children such as stairs etc. is securely fenced or otherwise made safe so that children can move freely in and around the house. The rooms and their en-suite bathrooms are neat and spacious. Very nice living area and porch and swimming pool. We were less impressed with the amount of wildlife to be seen in the area.
