Accommodation comprises 3 one-bedroom cottages and a dog-friendly family house with 2 bedrooms and 2 en-suite bathrooms, and can accommodate up to 12 guests. Each unit features a king-size bed, kitchenette, and bathroom with shower as well as a small patio to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Every cottage has a fireplace.
Guests have access to a plunge pool and a deck at the river. Guests can pamper themselves with a relaxing massage from our mobile spa and feel all the stress and tension flow away.

11 guests' feedbackWe had the best time at Riverbend Self-Catering Cottages. If you need a break from the city life and have a feel of nature and a peaceful time I 100% recommend Riverbend. Werner quickly attended to our requests.
The stay at Riverbend was truly more peaceful than we have rarely experienced elsewhere. The silence is indescribable and that in itself was therapy for the soul.
Riverbend Self-Catering Cottages is in a beautiful area. The owner goes out of his way to make you feel welcome and do extra for special occasions. Got a bottle of champagne and sweets on the bed for our wedding anniversary. Every late afternoon one of the workers come to pack the wood in the fireplace and light the fire. Wonderful atmosphere. Sunny patio at the braai area. If you want to relax and rest, this is the place.

Riverbend is a lovely place with lovely people. We were welcomed very nicely and were taken care of the whole weekend. I would definitely go back there because the services is great and the people are warm. Thanks Riverbend staff.
What a lovely little place. If you have all day and nothing to do this is the place to be. With a beautiful fireplace in the room to keep you and your little ones cosy on a cold night and staff that go out of their way to make your stay amazing. Will definitely be back.
The cottage was excellently equipped with modern facilities. Each room has a fireplace which makes staying in the winter very comfortable. The owner, Werner, was great and bent over backwards to accommodate us. Although there is a dirt road we had no problem reaching the destination with a low car as the road is wide and well scraped. We will definitely be back and can confidently recommend the place.

We had a great time at Riverbend. It is a "must-return" destination. The place was peaceful and tranquil, the grounds well maintained and the rooms lovely. Werner was very friendly and hospitable, and helped to ensure our comfort during our stay. We would definitely recommend Riverbend as a nice break-away destination. We will definitely be returning!
The best escape from the City. You are kindly received by Werner and Leonard. All basic necessities are available. It is clean, tidy and quiet. Werner also gives you a list of places you can visit during the day. Leonard is an old stalwart in every respect, carrying you wood and even making you a fire. I would definitely like to spend another weekend in this special place.
Werner, the owner, is a very friendly and helpful person. The place is really clean and a feast for the eyes. This is the place to go if you are looking for peace and quiet. I will definitely go back there.
