The first bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed and the second bedroom has a double bed with two single beds. The remaining bedrooms are all furnished with a double bed. All of the bathrooms are fitted with a shower, toilet and washbasin. There’s also a separate toilet.
The open-plan kitchen situated in the main house is equipped with a fridge-freezer, stove, oven, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, basic cutlery and crockery, as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities. The living area is furnished with a lounge suite and a freestanding fireplace. There’s a dining table with chairs and the sliding doors lead to the balcony which has outdoor furniture. Guests can sit and relax on the riverbank which has loungers and braai facilities. This rustic paradise has little phone signal and no TV, making it the perfect place to switch off. Secure parking is available on the premises.

Gorgeous setting right on the river with lovely communal areas. The separate family unit was stunning - perfect for a family of 4. The beautiful open lawn leading onto the river with access to all the water toys was an added bonus. It may sound strange, but the toilet instructions in the main house and the two eco loos were a bit confusing and slightly unhygienic, as we had to place used toilet paper into an open bin - not for those who don't enjoy a bit of an adventure. We were also advised that braai wood would be available; however, when we arrived, we were told there was no wood as it was all still too wet. We had to make a trip back to St Francis to purchase it, which was an inconvenience (we would have brought it along with us if we had known ahead of time). Overall, however, it's a lovely place kitted out with everything one could need.
