Outside the unit, there is a lovely patio with a table, chairs. There is a Weber braai for use. Enjoy your morning coffee under an umbrella which overlooks the garden and river which flows all year round.

The hosts were helpful, but there were also a few basics missing from the cottage, like cooking utensils and two-prong plugs to charge phones. But after asking the host, she accommodated us with what we needed.

Riverside cottage is one word: breathtaking! Everything is looked after very carefully and the surrounding area is incredibly well looked after, where you are served with a colorful garden. The tasteful swimming pool and braai area speaks of quality and quality. Really very stylish, but also warm and homely!
Fantastic place surrounded with lots of nature.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. In the evening we sat quietly on the porch and had a drink, completely private, even though the residence is right next to the cottage. It is only the laundry room window that is located near the cottage and we never noticed anyone there. Everything in the cottage was neat and chosen with great taste. We were walking distance to restaurants and the area is very safe. We will definitely use the accommodation again when we are in the area.

It was a peaceful visit and we enjoyed it very much. The WiFi and mobile phone reception were only very poor due to the location.
I think the only thing I would change would be to put up a gate between the cottage patio and the main house, giving privacy to the cottage's patio as it's overlooked by the house windows. And the sink is a bit small for a week's stay. But the cottage is lovely, the bed was divine, more comfy than our own. A lovely find. Hope to return again soon.
