"Beautiful place, very clean and neat."

Very clean, just the shower needs attention. We were a group of 6 on a fishing trip, and we battled with the shower.

"Very nice peaceful recharge and break away, beautiful view!"

We loved the large porch (where you can comfortably barbecue and visit as well) and very nice view of the Vaal Dam almost all around in front of us. The owner, Farhaad, made everything very convenient for us with good advance communication. We were very impressed and grateful for the extra thoughts that were to be found in the unit, for example the special lights (bulbs) that continue to burn when it is loadshedding, as well as the solar porch lights, insect screens in front of the windows because the natural environment, the USB plugs and electronics, more than everything needed in the kitchen with all the appliances as well as crockery and cutlery. The unit was also very neat and clean, there were just so little signs of the previous guests on the porch. The position of the bathroom through the master bedroom might make it a bit difficult for larger groups, but maybe there will be a change in the future and or will not disturb a family or friends, nevertheless still everything one needs for recharging and wonderful nature full getaway and many more extras! It was a lovely break and recharge, would love to stay longer!

"Relaxing with family."

We had a great time, the unit was clean and tidy. Farhaad was very hospitable and went out of his way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Will definitely visit again and recommend the unit to other people.

"Was not up to standard."

Communication with the owner was very good. Unfortunately, we will not utilize this accommodation again in the future. The main bedroom had no curtains, only net curtains (unlike the photo). Only two bath towels were provided. We were seven people. Single beds, downstairs, had no bottom sheets. We had to ask for linen. One toilet and shower within the unit to accommodate ten people and situated en-suite within the main bedroom. Hence all other guests must walk through the main room to use the bathroom. No privacy. The lounge couches were the most uncomfortable that we have ever experienced. I want to reiterate that the owner was very helpful in providing necessary information etc. but the unit was not up to standard. It does need a bit of TLC.
