Riverside Hide-a-Way is a double-storey house that can accommodate up to 9 guests. The house contains 4 en-suite bedrooms, decorated in a stylish and homely manner. All 4 bedrooms are located upstairs. The main bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed while both the third and fourth bedrooms are furnished with 2 comfortable single beds. There is another single bed on the loft area, which is ideal for kids. Each room features a shower en-suite with a toilet and washbasin. Upstairs, there is also a coffee nook and a bar fridge.
The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and includes a gas stove and oven, a fridge-freezer, a microwave, and a breakfast bar with stools. There is also a scullery with a dishwasher, a washing machine, and a tumble-dryer. The dining room contains an 8-seater dining table. The cosy lounge area features a fireplace and a TV with the full DStv bouquet. Guests can also relax in a Victorian bath downstairs in a separate bathroom.
The main living area extends onto a timber deck with beautiful views. The deck further extends to a secluded lapa area, where evening braais can be enjoyed.
Parking for 2 vehicles is provided on-site. There is a 2-seater canoe available for guests to use, at no charge.

3 guests' feedbackWe enjoyed it very much in this beautiful and fully equipped house, with the children (5, 11 and 15), parents and grandmother. It was cold, but what do you expect in the middle of winter? Fortunately, the house has many heaters and the beautiful fireplace, with more than enough firewood. The kitchen and living area are lovely. The Pirate's Creek neighborhood is very nice and safe, with a swimming pool and playground for the little ones, right next to the house. Most days we spent all day exploring in Wilderness. It was wonderful on Saturday to go out on the river with the whole family right out the back door with our two SUPs and the house's two boats. Many thanks to owner Francois and neighbors André and Estella for a wonderful long weekend!

We enjoyed every moment in this comfortable home. Internet only worked for an hour. It's a lovely house with lots of cozy places to hang out and lovely bedrooms. We would definitely like to stay here again. Very hospitable reception and even a bottle of sparkling wine!
