Friendly staff and excellent service.
We had a nice time. It's on the side of town with a hiking trail to the mountains and a river just next to the Lodge.
Staff are very hospitable and the area is safe. The rooms are very clean and tidy and would recommend the place to friends anytime.
Quiet and peaceful environment.
Very nice stay in the spacious house located near the entrance to the town. The rooms are pitch dark so you sleep like a rock! It's safe and I felt welcome in the big "house". The meeting facilities were a bonus.
Literally just slept there after a long day on the road. Slept very well!
Would have liked to have been able to boil the kettle at the coffee station, but unfortunately there is no electrical plug.
One should know that it is a large "lodge" with sleeping space for many guests. There was a tour group at home with me and I was allocated the farthest room from reception; up stairs, etc. The room was spacious and tidy with a large bathroom. The breakfast is excellent value at R100 cash.
When we arrived there was a party going on. No receptionist. We struggled to get hold of someone and the other guests also helped. Later the service was good. We were alone in the Lodge, felt a bit uneasy about security, my car outside. There is no shelf or table to put anything down in the bathroom, no hooks for towels, the kettle had to be put under the table to switch on.
They are so untidy the kitchen and their bathroom not up to standard, the lady that welcomed us was not friendly at all and when we ask her something she got so annoyed. We'll never go back there again, no activities for children, we had to share the kitchen with other guests and clean up our own dishes which we did not mind, but if you are more than 3 guests using the same kitchen you can not make out which dishes belong to who.

What upset us the most is that there were Eskom workers also staying who made a lot of noise in the early evening.
We were received very kindly and had a very pleasant stay. Very comfortable beds and soft bedding. Free WiFi and full DStv bouquet was especially a highlight for my daughter. Will definitely stay there again.
Friendly and helpful receptionist, the room was clean and comfortable, but smelled of cigarette smoke, the hifi in the reception area was left on all night and was right next door to my room.

We paid R1000 for 1 night, but no repairs were done in the bathroom. Our bathroom door handle is broken off, just lying there. The tub doesn't work. The smell in the bathroom stinks, I reckon the plum is pushing up. The bathroom fixtures are rusted. The balcony's sliding door could not close. The balconies are dirty and the garden around is not taken care of. They say there is security, but we didn't see anyone. No one at reception to give immediate service. During loadshedding they put lights out but no batteries in so it didn't work. 1 ply toilet paper. I think for price per night they could really put more quality in with little things. Bedding was clean which is 1 plus point. There is no water for guests in the fridge. Wasn't enough towels or cups put out.
