Accommodation at Riversong comprises fully-equipped wooden chalets designed for self-catering comfort, with complimentary braai wood provided. Guests have access to a canoe, as well as a boat equipped with a 25-horsepower engine and 2 stand-up paddle boards available for hire.
Surrounded by extensive hiking and mountain biking trails, Riversong Farm offers a landscape that spans 5 km, encompassing valleys, hills, and picturesque freshwater dams. Visitors can explore caves adorned with authentic Bushman paintings, amidst a backdrop of indigenous fynbos, proteas, and thatch.

We were so happy to stay at Riversong, it is right on the river and it is so peaceful and quiet. The animals are such an added bonus. We loved feeding the donkeys and interacting with the other animals. We would highly recommend Riversong but we are in two minds if we should let anyone else on our secret haven.
The house was very comfortable and clean. Good quality kitchen utensils. A big plus was the solar power. The outside area was amazing - beautiful view of the river - just so relaxing.
More blankets would have been nice, but we really enjoyed the lovely house with its porch and garden as well as the chalets.

Great location on the river with a lovely willow tree to sit under. Domestic and farm animals all around, and lovely bird life.
Sonja and Piers were very friendly, accommodating and helpful hosts.
Lovely farmhouse with large open living room, large lawn, right on the river. Spacious, comfortable rooms. Lovely socialising kitchen, with just about everything you need if you want to entertain or just cook and socialise. Just the best equipment. Quiet farm atmosphere where you can just relax and unwind, or canoe on the river in the mornings. We took our two dogs with us, and they enjoyed the holiday almost more than we did! They played with the other dogs on the farm every day. It's not a quick drive away from Stilbaai, so it's not necessarily a seaside holiday, just keep that in mind - it's just a difficult road to the farm. Yet for us it was exactly what we were looking for.
We had a lovely weekend. The accommodation and the beautiful surroundings make up for the bit of dirt road to get there.
Slept a little cold the first night. There was no additional blanket/duvet. Problem solved the next day.
