Facilities include electricity, electrical geysers and gas stoves. All cottages are equipped with showers only. Please supply your own towels and firewood.
Activity in the area includes swimming in the river, birdwatching, hiking, picnicking, or fishing. Alternatively, you can take a leisurely drive on one of the scenic routes in the area and visit the Marico eye the source of the river that flows through the farm.

12 guests' feedbackBeautiful location, in the heart of the bushveld. Big green lawns with huge trees surrounding the accommodation, perfect place for kids to play, while having a braai under the trees.
Nice and quiet, can relax well.
The valley around the river is very beautiful. The river was very full when we were there so don't know what it usually looks like. Stayed in Stroh house and there is a lot of space and the gardens are very nice and spacious. Note that there is no catchment.
If you are a nature person you will enjoy it for sure. Ah, all one's cares wash away in the river as my wife and I tried to fish. We were unsuccessful due to the spond time that was going on. But I will definitely pack my fly rods next time and again my bass gear. It's lovely and peaceful there. I wouldn't stay in any other house than Gypsy, the whole open idea with the donkey - we love it. Feels like you are in another world. We will definitely go back again soon, the yellowfish and bass are waiting for me. Many thanks to you, the website too, it was very nice.
You need a big bakkie to access. The road is almost like 4x4 track. Luckily we drive a bakkie otherwise we would have struggled.
Special place for nature lovers. Accommodation simple but adequately equipped. Was a bit disappointed in the tone of the information leaflet in the kitchen. Otherwise very pleasant.
If you enjoy peace and quiet, this is the place for you. It's for true forest lovers who aren't too bothered about pretty tiger lanterns. If you love Dullstroom or Clarens, stay away.
Tranquility, beautiful surroundings.
Very neat and clean, made a lot of effort to make us feel at home. Delicious coffee at the owner Jacques. Lovely dogs. So peaceful in nature and beautifully picturesque. Perfect weekend getaway without any outside influence like phones and TVs. Thank you very much Jacques.

A wonderful place in the middle of nowhere. Ideal for nature lovers and those who want to unwind, meditate and create lasting memories.You need to carry all your food provisions, otherwise you have to hunt or fish for food!
We love staying at Riverstill. Fortunately we like dogs, but guests should be warned that they take over the house, couches and beds! The gas oven is dangerous and my guest burned his hand seriously in re-lighting it when it went out. It would be an added bonus if the canoe was in better condition. However, we had a wonderful weekend in this paradise.
