River view is neatly maintained. Our unit was nice and clean and fresh. Short of a smarter plan than the stove and oven combo, it's not very practical if you want to cook for a family. One feels safe and the river view is beautiful.
We were a large group with young and old people. The staff were friendly and very kind. Extra effort was done by the staff to accommodate us so that we could have a space to gather and meet together. The gardens are maintained.
It is such a beautiful and quiet place. The bird life there is fantastic. Facilities always very clean. Would recommend it to everyone anytime.
We arrived on Thursday and were well received. Friday morning a lady came to do rounds. We let her know that the air conditioning was faulty and that the ceiling fan was not working at all. She said that they requested quotes for new air conditioning. She has since left and we thought she might move us to another unit or maybe get someone out to check the faulty appliances. We didn't see anyone else this weekend. The area is very hot and air conditioning is a must or maybe just provide an extra fan. Other than that it was very nice and will definitely visit again. Just make sure all appliances are working before guests check in.
It was a very nice weekend. We really enjoyed the tranquility. The houses are very beautiful with everything you need at your disposal.

Thoroughly enjoyed the quiet and natural beauty of this venue. It is a modest holiday place, good if you like being out in the countryside, enjoy fishing and like swimming in the two delightful swimming pools - not in the Olifants River as there are crocs, and we saw a large one. There was such a heavy storm the first night that the braai was put out by rain water coming down the chimney of the built in braai and the power was out for quite a long time, but apart from this our stay was relaxing and most enjoyable.
Very peaceful, just what I needed after a busy year.
Riviersig is a very peaceful, neat and clean place. It has a heated pool and a normal pool. The owners are so friendly and my two small sons were warmly welcomed. Any enquiries are quickly met with a response. There are great fishing spots and you can ask the owner to indicate some fishing spots on the rock banks. This place is equipped with everything and it is not necessary to take anything along except your own towels. Will definitely plan to go there again. Also remember to take earthworms along if you want to fish with them.
Quiet and comfortable accommodation and also for tents. Great variety of bird life was a surprise. Will definitely use the accommodation again and also recommend it. Friendly service.

Had a wonderful experience with family. Initially booked 2 cottages but moved to 8 bed cottage with no problems. Owner was extremely helpful and accommodating. The house had everything we needed, and was very clean and tidy. Service was excellent! Will definitely stay there again in the future.

We had a good time camping. The lawn is excellent and the people especially enjoyed the hot water pool.
Would love to stay there again. It was very clean and tidy. Weekend tent campers should not be allowed to camp so closely to the pool area. Other residents feel uncomfortable using the pool facilities.
We really had a great time. It is an ideal place for a family getaway. It is not overcrowded which makes it easy to relax while the children have fun swimming and frolicking. The staff is also very friendly. We would love to visit again. The chalet was just very dusty and we had to dust and wipe it when we got there. Something that had to be fixed before our arrival. Even the chairs were full of dog or cat hair and we had to brush them clean.

The places are really clean and tidy. If a group booked both spots it would be nice, but I didn't like my neighbors being in one's space like that - wouldn't feel comfortable hanging out outside too if they shared the same space. Luckily we just slept there and visited elsewhere.

The chalets are very modern and fully equipped. We were very surprised with the chalet. There is also a warm water pool which the children really enjoyed and we also really enjoyed the covered braai while it was raining. The host and hostess were also very friendly and helpful. Place is very neat and well maintained. It was very hot and air conditioning in the rooms is recommended. An outdoor barbecue would be nice under the trees because the stoep is very warm. Furthermore, we had a good time and the view of the river is very beautiful.

The sounds of nature from early morning until evening were a pleasant experience. The compound Chalets meant we never felt too alone, but it was still private enough. The resort is also far enough and close enough to civilization. We were two women staying there alone, but never felt unsafe. The resort management is very good. All facilities are well maintained and cared for. Wildlife is a plus for me. Bird watchers should definitely remember their bird books and binoculars.
I will only make one recommendation: the 3-bed chalets definitely need a table. However, we had a great time relaxing and have already recommended the place to friends.
