There were some cockroaches walking around the room. The place did not feel clean. Thank goodness the bedding was white so I could see to sleep clean. The service was excellent.

Do not stay on ground floor. Road side also noisy. Otherwise all fine.
Stayed for only one night. Only one tap in the bathroom was working. Curtains as well as blankets need upgrading. There was an overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke at the entrance/reception area, as well as early morning noises outside the room.

The breakfast was fantastic, my grandchild moved around in the corridor where we slept without his grandma getting paranoid. It really is a beautiful place and the fact that the shops are so close makes it even more enjoyable. Thank you very much for everything. You deserve your 5 stars all the way.

All that bothered was the ground floor which was a smoking floor. I could smell the smoke up to the second floor and since I'm not a smoker at all it bothered me.
One of our rooms still had trash in the bin and a used soap in the shower on arrival. Also had no kettle. Other than that the stay was good.

Very centrally located and conveniently close to a major shopping center but would rather have a safe in the room to lock a computer in.
The Road Lodge's location is good but the rooms are not value for money. The vending machine didn't work either and the price of the breakfast is too much.

Was a female only there and felt safe the whole time.
I was there for business, but my husband and almost 2 year old son went together. The atmosphere is so peaceful and nice and the staff really care about their customers. My boy immediately felt at home and was not bored at all. The rooms are very clean and it has everything one needs. When we had to check out my little boy just fell asleep and they also offered that we could stay even longer until he woke up. Will stay there again for sure.

Air conditioning not working, but accepted possibly due to load shedding. Do not wash milk in room for coffee/tea.

Found the receptionist by the name of Ronell, very friendly and helpful. Room and linen are fresh and clean. Meals were available at extra cost. Ideal place to stay over when visiting Cape Town for business.
Enjoyed staying there. The lodge just needs to adjust their TV channels.
Close to everything and very affordable with good friendly service.
Customer service was top notch. Just have to sleep very lightly. Parked my car opposite my room. Guy then decided to lay against my car and smoke Hubbly Bubbly, it cost me then to pull away. Tried really hard to shut down, but other residents kept going until before 3. Room I can't complain about, but I really think security and persons responsible for maintaining peace of mind have a job.
Was more than adequate for a business visit.
For a quick trip to Cape Town where our family surprised us with our visit and we didn't want to sleep with them it was very pleasant. Staff members are very friendly and it feels like your home. The room was clean and tidy.
