Felt safe with secure access and very neat. Comfy beds. TV channels had problematic connectivity; had to call reception, who assisted in connecting me.
The stay was great, service by staff excellent. Food was good. Room was neat and comfy.
It was nice, comfortable and central to Scottsville.
Overall I was happy, felt safe and comfortable. The atmosphere is serene, peaceful and beautiful. I suggest a proper signage at the entrance to the lodge as I missed the turn on the right and more dinner options.

You can see the lodge from the highway, making it easy to find when you arrive. I felt comfortable that there was good security for the site. The reception and other staff could not have been more friendly and helpful, taking time to talk to me to make sure I was comfortable and happy. The breakfast and supper service had variety and was good value for money. The room, though small, was adequate and kept clean. I'll be back next time I'm in Pietermaritzburg.

It was very neat and was good for what we needed it for. We were a group of professional athletes and made our own food. The lodge's kitchen was too small, so next time we will stay at a self-catering instead. But thank you very much.

With the minimum space and road lodge facilities, the staff went out of their way to make it pleasant for everyone. They were open 24 hours at reception for the trotters - always had water ready. Top notch service!
