I was kindly received. My tent accommodation was luxurious and clean, but with any tent the noise from outside always comes in, and there was a lot of noise from tractors to alarms going off.

The only this we had a bit of a struggle with was a stove. We expected a self catering place to have that, but all in all we had a great time.
The tents may only need to be opened for fresh air an hour or two ahead of time. Was a bit stuffy when we unlocked.
The tents were very clean and tidy and it's really ideal for an overnight stay to Wildtuin and Mozambique and also close to Nelspruit but still outside the town.
We basically only used it to sleep. We were there at the weekend for the InniBos family festival that was nearby. The unit was very comfortable and tidy. The WiFi is only very weak in the particular unit because it is basically built under the hoo, with a cement roof.

It is wonderfully quiet and the facilities are first class.
The place is very nice, well furnished and clean with very beautiful scenery and peaceful surroundings. We stayed in an equipped tent. They might just pay attention to the hot water system. almost impossible to regulate the water. Then too hot and then too cold. I know this can be a problem with gas hot water systems. Furthermore, everything was 100% and we really enjoyed the stay.
The service is excellent. They go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Very friendly and is located in a good location and close to most attractions. The tranquility and scenery and wildlife that moves there is wonderful. Accommodation is fantastic. Units are very clean and everything is there. Recommend Rockview Lodge and will visit again. Many thanks to the staff you are wonderful.

Meets all the needs, very quiet and safe and you can just relax. Nice barbecue suits and the atmosphere is just what you need after a long day on the road.

Nice quiet place but there were some inconveniences. The bed in the master bedroom was very hard and uncomfortable and we had to ask for blankets to throw on the bed to make it more comfortable. Mosquitoes were bothersome and the WiFI didn't work most of the time and this leads to sitting with teenagers who complain all the time. We didn't come until the second day to ask if they could clean.
The weather and the places were good. Also the view of the place was great.

We stayed in a luxury self catering tent and the owners took care of every single detail from coffee cups to braai tongs. The birdlife is lovely and the bunny rabbits and chickens who passed by were a nice surprise.
We only stayed for one night. Rock View is excellently located just outside the town approximately 1.3 km from the N4 and approximately 10 km outside the town and within reach of attractions in the area. The lodge is very well maintained with a beautiful garden. The facilities are all of high quality and laid out with good taste. The staff is very friendly and you feel right at home.

It was a comfortable room in a very quiet environment. More attention can only be paid to maintenance. The ad offered wildlife viewing and crocodile viewing, which we were really looking forward to, but it is no longer available at all.

Rock View Lodge is a refreshing surprise, literally a stone's throw outside Nelspruit, on the N4 national road. Friendly and well-trained staff ensure that tired bodies quickly find their resting places. The family unit is spacious with a walk-in closet the size of a room. The bathroom is very spacious with a shower, bath sink and easy chair! In the fully equipped kitchen, we were surprised late at night with complimentary Nescafe coffee and Ouma biscuits! Security is ensured by an access-controlled gate for which residents get the code so that movement in and out can take place freely - as early or late as you like. The owners even provided an additional bed for our 3rd child in the living room - at no extra cost. Really value for money.

House Rules
A Full English Breakfast is available on request served between 07:00-08:30 am Monday to Friday at an additional cost. The kitchen closes at 9:00 am and Sundays at 9:30 am. On Saturdays and Public Holidays breakfast will be from 08:00-09:30 am, earlier by prior arrangement. Sunday's breakfast will be only between 08:00-09:00 am, earlier by prior arrangement.
Late check-in can be made by prior arrangement. The gates closes at 9 pm for security reasons. There is not a 24hr reception.
The day visitors rate will be charged from 10:30 am.
Please leave the key at reception before you leave and get an exit code.
A cleaning/breakage fee of R300.00 will be charged for group bookings upon arrival.
There will be a penalty of R200 for any lost or damaged keys.
No smoking is allowed in rooms or units.
No eating is allowed in the rooms. There are seating areas available around the pool deck.
No alcohol is allowed in the pool areas or luxury rooms, we have a fully licensed bar.
Should any alcohol be brought into the Luxury Rooms or Pool Area, there will be a corkage fee of R150 per person.
No music allowed.
Appropriate swimwear to be used when swimming, no underwear, please.
Residents will not be allowed any visitors unless by prior arrangement.
NO kitchen facilities available for the 4 star en-suite rooms, however we do have braai facilities near our dam with all necessary cutlery and crockery available on request.
Dinner options are available Monday to Thursday with prior arrangements (Need to let us know by 2PM) Closed During December.
There are GREAT restaurants between 5km and 20km from the lodge.
All en-suite rooms are 4 star graded, the self-catering units are not graded.
Rooms are serviced daily with exception of Weekends and Public Holidays.
Should you require a service on the above days there will be an additional fee and this will be by prior arrangement at reception.
No noise or Swimming after 21h00, we want all our guests to enjoy their stay!
No littering, a cleaning fee will be charged at check-out if need be.
Unruly guests will not be tolerated and will be escorted off the premises.
Please re-enquire before making payment to make sure the accommodation is still available.
A 50% deposit payment will secure the room.

The Safari Tented Camps and Campsites are located along the dam where you can enjoy the braai facilities as well as the fishing spots.
