This holiday house can accommodate up to 4 guests and consists of 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and an open-plan living area. Each bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed, and the bathrooms are fitted with a shower or bath. The well-equipped kitchen contains 2 fridges, a gas hob, a microwave, and a kettle.
The open-plan living area has couches to relax on and a fireplace. On one side of the living area, sliding doors open to a courtyard, which has a braai area for guests to use; on the other side of the living area, sliding doors open to a sheltered patio and garden. Parking is available in front of the house.
There are many activities to do in the area, such as hiking, walking and mountain bike trails to explore; kayaking, horse riding, whale watching in season, and excellent surfing, swimming, snorkelling, diving and kiting opportunities.
This property is found in a wildlife sanctuary so there will be numerous visits from the local wildlife. Please always show the utmost respect for the wildlife. The property is unfenced, so although we are pet and child friendly please bear this in mind. There is a small fence at the back that can keep smaller dogs but will not be suitable for larger breeds. We encourage the free roaming of the local wildlife, baboons, tortoises, dassies, mongoose etc and fences inhibit this. We try and have as little impacts on the surrounding nature as possible. We ask hat while staying at the property the same philosophy is respected

Terribly nice place. Most beautiful view. Baboons are very comfortable, not at all as wild as we have experienced in other places. The welcome pack was great. I haven't sat around a fire roasting marshmallows in a long time. Every day was an experience to be able to see a new animal. Rocklands on Sea is very nicely decorated. I praised the shower that didn't have a door on it. What a nice experience to be able to have a view of the sea while rinsing your hair. The bed was very comfortable to sleep in. Check in was very easy. The baboons prevented us from opening doors a bit while we were there, not because we were afraid of them. They literally do nothing but come and collect food in a very quiet way. But after our breakfast was taken, we just decided to keep the doors closed even if we were at home. Although, one can quickly pick up their time routine. We will definitely be going back again and again and again and again. Rocklands on Sea will definitely be on our retirement tour. No WiFi or TV which made it even more enjoyable, we could read a little book and connect with the whole family. Amazing place and a must visit.
House is very comfortable, well stocked. We loved the indoor fireplace. Absolutely beautiful views from the bedrooms. Both bathrooms could do with a shelf/vanity for toiletry items. Visitors must definitely be very vigilant with the hungry baboons!
My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful weekend for our wedding anniversary. The house was neat and clean. Firewood provided in- and outside. The view of the sea was exceptional. There was a problem with the alarm, but security arrived within 5 minutes. Definitely money well spent.
We stayed in Rocklands for a weekend and were very satisfied with the accommodation. The house is in front of the rocks and you look out over the sea to Cape Point's lighthouse. Behind the house are the incredibly beautiful mountains. The view from the master bedroom is unbeatable. The house had everything needed with a cute braai area. I can highly recommend the house.

Rocklands on Sea is an ideal getaway destination if you want to escape the noise and activity of the city. It has a lovely location with beautiful views from almost every room. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need. Will definitely come back again!
The experience was very good, but the presence of the baboons makes it average, if not unpleasant. The rogue baboon visited us on Saturday morning, turning all the doorknobs, trying all the sliding doors to look for a way in. Quite a scary experience, needless to say, the rest of the weekend we spent with locked doors and closed windows, a little locked in really. The baboon problem is out of control, and it seems as if there's no solution to it.
Shower doesn’t have a door, so the bathroom floor floods with each use. Several broken/aged window frames and some windows don’t close properly. Didn’t feel safe knowing the windows can easily be opened form outside. Wind hisses through all the gaps which is disturbing while sleeping. Lovely fire pit though and kitchen was well set up with everything one needs. Bottle of wine and chocolates was very welcome. The photos definitely look a little more upmarket than in real life. Thank you.
Rocklands on Sea is perfectly located, close to the beach and right on the rock for walking or just sitting and looking at the sea with a glass of wine. The house was very well furnished with everything one needs. The host was friendly and always available to help. From our side, definitely, 12 out of 10.

We had a wonderful, peaceful stay at Rocklands on Sea. The house is meters away from the rocky shore and offers beautiful views. Mathew and Jace are warm, friendly and efficient hosts. Their home breathes of the love and care they took with the interior and attention to detail to ensure a comfortable stay. We will most certainly be back.
