The 69 square-meter apartment is situated on the second floor in the secure Rockwell building apartment block and comprises 1 bedroom, a bathroom, and an open-plan kitchen, lounge and dining area. The bedroom contains a queen-size bed and the bathroom contains a bath and a shower. Soap and shampoo are provided. The open-plan lounge area contains a sleeper couch, and the kitchenette is equipped with a microwave, a fridge, an oven and stove, a washing machine and a tumble dryer. The apartment is ideal for couples and small families. Linen and towels are provided.
The balcony offers an ideal relaxation spot and enjoys the morning sun and slight views of the harbour. The apartment is located on the quiet side of the building, facing away from the main street, and is an ideal base from which to explore all Cape Town has to offer.
The apartment block has 24-hour security, secure parking, as well as access to a communal swimming pool and a gym. Guests have access to 1 secure underground parking space. The staff member, Gilbert, will take care of your dishes, washing and cleaning twice a week at no extra charge, and more frequent servicing can be arranged on request. Wi-Fi is also available for a small charge via a 3G modem.
The ground level of the Rockwell building has a coffee shop, and attached is a sushi restaurant and a French restaurant. Please note that the apartment is privately owned within the Rockwell Hotel with 24-hour security and a 24-hour manned reception desk. The apartment is not managed by the hotel.

7 guests' feedbackThe apartment looks exactly the way it does in the pictures. Our hosts made took care of us from the minute we arrived in Cape Town. We will definitely stay there again. Apart from the school across the street, the place is centrally located and easy access to many things. Natasha was very friendly and helpful upon arrival. It is quite and nice to stay there.
The accommodation is very very nice, if there is what you will need for cooking and sleeping. The bonus is the Nespresso coffee machine it works like a dream. Very large Spar store just up the street and it was very convenient.
I was in Cape Town for work and stayed in a few apartments over a period of 5 weeks. I stayed in this apartment for 3 of these visits. Good value for money, nice restaurants in the area, very nice Spar over the road, central for work in the city. Apartment is well equipped. There is even a power cable for if you want to work with your computer on the table.
Already booked again. Building itself has very good security - few tourists in evenings on the street due to less tourists.
Very good value for money. Will recommend for sure. Little things that need attention. There was no toilet paper. And porch light not working. Maybe keep extra bulbs there so you can change them yourself. But would recommend for sure.
Good, clean facilities with secure parking. Excellent location. Can recommend Trendy Waterkant and would like to visit again myself.
This apartment is very central and if you enjoy walking, every attraction is within easy reach even the new contemporary art museum. Excellent facilities in the building or just 2 minutes away.
