The Family and Deluxe rooms have a small kitchenette equipped with a fridge, microwave, tea and coffee making facilities. The Standard Rooms offer tea- and coffee- making facilities only.
Guests have access to the sparkling pool, as well as the lapa and lounge area complete with bush boma and bonfire pit. Relax and enjoy the views over the Schurveberg mountains, as this is a Hartbeespoort lodge at its best. The lodge has an entertainment area which can also be used for conferencing and functions for up to 50 people.
Rocky Hollow Lodge, previously owned by world know impressionist painter, Adriaan Boshoff, offers a real farm experience with natural bush veld that runs through the estate, and is home to hundreds of bird species and wildlife that includes gemsbuck (oryx), zebra, impala, blesbuck, blouwildebees and springbuck which roam freely within the Elandsfontein Eco Park.
On-site activities include game viewing, horseback game rides, bird viewing, 4x4 track, mountain biking, a party boat, sparkling swimming pool, photography courses, painting, golf packages, and cash bar facilities.

Good location for an overnight stay after a function in the area.
The rooms were nice and clean. Unfortunately, we had no water. We had loud music early hours on Sunday morning which was very unpleasant for a beautiful place. Beautiful place and garden.
Terrible customer service and spiders all over the room, no one to help us.
As I say, was nice, but too short.
Terribly cute place with lots of potential! The room was very neat and modern with everything you could possibly need. Bedding was neat and clean and bed slept like a dream. Just a shame that other guests made our stay less enjoyable with their loud music and hanging out at the pool even though it's against the rules of the lodge. There was also very little drink and no ice available. Furthermore, it is a place that I would gladly recommend.
The fridge didn't work. We ordered drinks and had to get them cold with ice. The unit's refrigerator also did not work. There was no chair or table outside the unit so we could sit outside. No coffee or tea available in the unit. The photos inside were what we saw but no photos from outside the unit, no outside seating. Their wi-fi didn't work either.
No signs or indication boards. Searched for a while. Otherwise nice!
Very neat, but unfortunately no breakfast received as promised.

Management reserves the right refuse alcoholic beverages to guests who are demonstrating intoxicated behaviour.

No firearms and / or weapons may be kept within the premises without license.
Guests are not allowed to play loud music (from vehicles on the premises, inside guest room, or around external bar and boma fire, etc.). Management reserves to their sole discretion, the right to control the noise level and music timing.
A maximum number of two guests are allowed in standard and deluxe rooms, with the exemption of prior arrangements with Rocky Hollow Guest Farm for the toddlers and kids up to 4 years old. guest rooms, which were reserved for one guest, will attract an additional charge, should the guest occupancy exceed this number.
All guest rooms will be checked together with the guest on arrival and departure. Any item and / or object, left in an inferior state to check-in, will incur a replacement-charge for the guest and is payable before departure.
All guests are required to sign the guest-room itinerary on arrival and on departure. Any vacancies, will be charged to the guest account and is payable before departure.
Lost items will be kept for 48 hours. Postage can be arranged at additional cost. Rocky Hollow Guest Farm will not be held responsible for loss or stolen items.
All parking on Rocky Hollow Guest Farm premisses is at own risk.

Each farmstead room is tastefully decorated and offers guests comfortable Hartbeespoort accommodation in style. The bathrooms are luxurious and are equipped with a bathtub for relaxing and a shower made for two. All linen, complimentary soap and extra towels are supplied. The Family and Deluxe rooms have a small kitchenette equipped with a fridge, microwave, tea and coffee making facilities. The Standard Rooms offer tea- and coffee- making facilities only.
Guests have access to the sparkling pool, as well as the lapa and lounge area complete with bush boma and bonfire pit. Relax and enjoy the views over the Schurveberg mountains, as this is a Hartbeespoort lodge at its best. The lodge has an entertainment area which can also be used for conferencing and functions for up to 50 people.
Rocky Hollow Lodge, previously owned by world know impressionist painter, Adriaan Boshoff, offers a real farm experience with natural bush veld that runs through the estate, and is home to hundreds of bird species and wildlife that includes gemsbuck (oryx), zebra, impala, blesbuck, blouwildebees and springbuck which roam freely within the Elandsfontein Eco Park.
On-site activities include game viewing, horseback game rides, bird viewing, 4x4 track, mountain biking, a party boat, sparkling swimming pool, photography courses, painting, golf packages, and cash bar facilities.
The farm is located just outside the tourist town of Hartbeespoort, and is a short drive away from NECSA, Rosslyn and Lanseria airport. In close proximity there is a divine cuisine destination of the Mosaic Restaurant, home to the best female chef in South Africa. Other nearby attractions include Lion Park, Harties Cable Way Experience, Elephant Sanctuary, Monkey Sanctuary, Hartbeespoortdam, and the Cradle of Human Kind.
