15 guests' feedbackMy daughter and I had an enjoyable time, the pool on our front porch was a big plus. I just noticed that the fridge in the place's door cannot close completely. Other than that, everything was perfect.
2 things that bothered me is the fact that there is no privacy between the toilet and room part. A little more storage space for groceries etc would have made the experience tops. The owners make sure their guests do not lack anything and go out of their way to make their guests feel comfortable. Definitely a future visit on the cards here.
We stayed there for a week, it was heavenly, 5 minutes drive to the nearest beach and if we decided to skip the beach and go somewhere else, we come back and dip in the pool which is right in front of us through is, heavenly man. What more can one ask for. I started work today and my boss noticed the calm in me. Just excited and full of courage for 2022. Thank you Rodney and don't forget Jacques, he likes to help where he can, thank you very much for making our stay pleasant. Oh yes, and our car was safely parked in front of the front door. Will definitely stay there again if life pushes.
Our visit was indeed very peaceful as expected, a nice break from everyday noise and hustle and bustle of busy city life. Our host was very friendly, and helpful, we couldn't have asked for better.
Delicious meals were offered at very reasonable prices. Laundry even washed at no extra cost. Quiet and private. Beautiful clean pool, room well equipped.
Everything in the room that is needed, the pool and privacy was very pleasant.
Took it up with Rod just that the shower floor is slippery, be very careful there, shower mat will help.
Everything was neat. Coffee and milk and sugar were a plus and the cleanliness too. Would recommend to anyone. Nice central and safe.
We were kindly received and accommodation was found to be comfortable. Not far from the beach or other shops etc. Everything we needed was available and we had a comfortable stay.
The silence has done us good, we feel fresh again and lust for life.
Rodney is the perfect host. Had such a wonderful visit and stay. One feels at home and relaxed there.
It's a nice area to spend the night. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. I will definitely come again next time, as well as tell friends and family about the great service at Rod's guest house.
I really enjoyed my time at Rods Self Catering. The hosts were very pleasant, and accommodating. I would recommend them anytime, especially if you are looking for a quiet place just to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
Place is very cosy, private and quiet. Loved the decor. See you again soon.
