Rod's View is a wonderful place to stay with a family/children or friends. The views are spectacular and the house is very well-appointed with everything you need, and more!
The view is breathtaking, the weather blessed us with a perfect day almost every day. The beach was quiet and lovely to meander around the rocks. We enjoyed the braai facilities and the loungers. There are wonderful restaurants nearby to visit with exceptional service and food. We will most definitely go there again.
Rodsview is an absolute gem of a place everything about this place is awesome and perfect, the service location facilities and the view! Will definitely recommend and be back again!

Perfectly located on the beach with great views, this unit is very well kitted out with every conceivable item. Trying to find good accommodation for a small group is not easy on the North Coast, and Rod's View exceeded our expectations. A special mention for Paul, who was incredibly generous and helpful.
The view is spectacular, with easy access to a very scenic beach. The only negative comment I have is that the pillows on all the beds were extremely uncomfortable. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.
Unit is not suitable for kids below five because there's a steep land drop which is not fenced of.

The beach is quiet and beautiful and clean. The apartment has everything you will need for self-catering and is spacious. This is a beautiful place to stay in Sheffield beach.
Wonderful, wonderful. On arrival after a long drive there was coffee and biscuits and milk in the fridge - all the little things count for big points. Rod's View has an excellent view and full kitchen. There is really nothing one lacks. Liz is an excellent hostess, the place is really neatly maintained and upgraded. I will always recommend Rod's view to everyone. They will definitely see me again within a month or two.

Apart from the well equip self-catering house, the little things impressed us a lot. The box of biscuits, coffee, tea and sugar were supplied, the milk in the fridge to make yourself a cup of coffee when you arrive. The bath and beach towels. The firewood for the first braai. Excellent quality of bed sheets and duvets.
Mary met us upon our arrival at the unit and showed us everything. Her kindness immediately made us feel welcome and at home. Our daughter who celebrated her 21st birthday during the long weekend was spoiled with a gift and delicious cake. There was even fresh milk in the fridge and a bag of ice in the freezer. The unit was neat, clean and fully equipped. There were swimming towels, board games, full DStv and WiFi. The area offers more than enough places to eat and several shopping centers near the unit. The view is of course fantastic and peaceful. Our hearts were aching as we left after a lovely few days at Rod's view. Thanks Mary, Liz and Paul.
It's a lovely place close to everything, very peaceful with everything you need. We will definitely want to go again. All it needs is a dishwasher.
Liz is a wonderful hostess and no effort is too much. This little place is modern and well-equipped. You even have private access to the beach.
We had an incredible time there. The people who own the place are fantastic and definitely made our stay worthwhile. There was everything we needed and the location is 'amazing'. Ideal for someone who really wants to relax and enjoy the beach.
