The Rolbos guest house has a wonderful homely vibe and is well-equipped. The owner is very friendly and attentive which made for a wonderful, relaxed stay. We'll definitely be back, highly recommend it.
We had a lovely stay at Tannie Joey's Rolbos Guest House. Here is everything you could possibly need to make an overnight or longer stay comfortable. The accommodation is very neat with exceptional attention to detail. There is even provision for toiletries and snacks offered for sale if you may have forgotten something. Aunt Joey accommodated us on short notice and went out of her way to meet our every need. She even made us a dinner reservation at one of the local restaurants. The breakfast she provided was also top notch. We will definitely stay here again and can highly recommend Rolbos.

We were on our way to Robertson from Upington and stayed at Rolbos which was more or less half way and suited us well. You can choose whether you want to stay B&B or self-catering. The people are nice and very hospitable. We can confidently recommend the place where we stayed.

Calvinia is in the middle of a desert and is an oasis. We enjoyed our stay. The staff were helpful.
Aunt Joey went the extra mile, she stayed awake for us, because we would be arriving a little later than check-in time, welcomed us very kindly, showed us immediately where we were going to sleep. We set up the storage cot very neatly and comfortably, put my baby down and continue unpacking. Thank you very much for the number when we drove through Calvinia again this weekend and found a flat tire.

We were welcomed on arrival and also allowed an early check in which was great. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking. Bed and bedding fresh. Lots of space.
I am a few months late in giving my review, but finally have made the time to give it. As it really is of importance to me to show my appreciation to Joey and Frikkie for their warm hospitality and brilliant service. She made us feel right at home and got us to relax after the terribly long journey from Cape Town which was difficult with two small children. The accommodation was so spacious, clean and had everything we could need. Thank you, Joey, so much for all your love and kindness during our short stay!
