Rondekuil Estates comprises 10 separate units, offering privacy and comfortable accommodation for guests. There are 5 Country Lodge units, 2 Old Farm Houses, 2 Leeulaagte Cottages, and 1 Rondawel. Country Lodge 1 has 1 bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, and a large, open-plan kitchen, a lounge and dining area. It has thatch ceilings and the floors are tiled. There is also a cosy fireplace for guests to enjoy on those cold winter days and nights. This unit also has a balcony with beautiful views of the vineyards. The Old Farm House 1 is split into 2 spacious rooms. There is a patio with views over the gardens and the fields. These apartments, which are also pet-friendly, is normally rented out for medium to long time periods, but are also available for short-term accommodation. Old Farmhouse 2 is furnished with a double bed, a bathroom with a shower, a fully equipped kitchen, and a open-plan lounge and dining room. The unit has front garden where guests can relax on easy chairs and have access to braai facilities.
Leeulaagte comprises 2 Cape-Colonial style houses, each with a spacious patio where guests can relax while enjoying beautiful views of the swimming pool, dam, garden, fields and the river. Each house comprises 2 bedrooms with an en-suite bathroom in each. The kitchen is decorated with granite tops and is fully equipped with a fridge, microwave, indoor braai, 2-plate stove, coffee- and tea-making facilities, crockery and cutlery. 24 guests' feedbackThe accommodation is good, just some maintenance issues that need to be sorted out. There is a leaking roof in the small bathroom and the toilet is loose in the main bathroom.
I had a very relaxing stay. The hosts were very helpful. A beautiful tranquil farm stay. It was perfect.
I booked a large group of 20 people and this farm was perfect for it. The accommodation has a beautiful pool and porches and just a general cosy and welcoming feel.
Very nice stay, room was neat and clean, as well as the common living room and small kitchen.
Had a good night's sleep, yes, mattress is great, but it stops there. Place needs a good "update". Bedside lamp didn't work, pillows completely mushy, carpets look dirty, wardrobe door has a broken spot or lost knob. Water pressure at shower was very poor on Tuesday morning. Headboard is loose.
It was lovely and quiet, my only complaint is that the room is incredibly hot and the fan is too high up to be of any help. Other than that, it's a beautiful room and very comfortable and relaxing.

Large space was lovely as well. 3 separate rooms plus attic room. One room with a king size bed completely separate from other rooms was an unexpected bonus! We got everything we needed. Even a hair dryer. Enough blankets and towels. The garden is well maintained and it's nice to just walk around undisturbed. So quiet and peaceful, no one bothers. Uncle Richard made an extra effort when something was left behind. We will definitely go again.

The photos on the website are not at all what the farm looks like. Very old and short on attention. We had to ask to be moved after my daughter had an allergic reaction in the Old Farmhouse. The house was full of spider webs and cockroaches, indicating it had not been cleaned for our arrival. The farmhouse may no longer be offered to guests. The accommodation we were moved to was better but was never cleaned during our stay, even if it is indicated that cleaning services are daily. The communal dining hall for the accommodation is also outdated and not so clean that it would be pleasant to eat there. The stay at Rondekuil put a damper on our holiday, we are disappointed and will never visit Rondekuil again.
The atmosphere at the rondavel is very peaceful with enough play space for young children and energetic young people.
Would recommend them anytime.
We love the views from the back veranda from the Valley House. The surrounding area really made us feel at home.
Neat accommodation and everything you need. It is a bonus that I could bring my little dog who always travels with us.
Suitable if you are attending a function.
